Greensky was amazing. Been about 6 years since I’ve seen them. They have come a long way. show cracked my top 10 https://2nu.gs/2pRrSwX
did not, but have been a ton lately. They are a top 5 thing touring at the moment. Must see if coming. Close. Light show as good too, which you wouldn’t expect at blue grass
If anybody knows of, or hears of extras for the Charleston run please let me know, I need Saturday and Sunday
So wtf happened away the end of the wsp show last night. They're on Twitter apologizing for an unfortunate incident.
Well they did an Andy Kaufman “theme”, so general consensus was it was like a joke/bit. But essentially during the last song of the encore, there was like a back and forth and then a lady in a cowboy hat stormed on stage and threw water at JB. Band left the stage, “security” grabbed the lady and the show just ended. Andy Kaufman was a bit before my time, but apparently that kind of shock/confusion was part of his act. Idk my buddy said it was weird, but definitely seemed “staged”. Setlist before the encore looked fucking awesome though.
Interesting. Sounds like a Kaufman like bit. Why apologize? I guess cause they ended the show abruptly?
I think you're right, but a buddy who was there said security was really rough on the girl, so he thinks it wasn't staged. Consensus, though, seems to be that it was staged. Either way, better than some played-out encore like Climb to Safety.
Saw Goose last night, really good show. I'd describe them as Phish on adderall. They're jammy and definitely get out there, but also very tight and there's not a lot of noodling during the bigger jams. Sort of a more polished, cooler, older brother of Pigeons. They sold out a mid-size club/venue in Richmond on a Sunday night, which is kinda wild. Guys have a big following already, definitely on the rise.
Thanks for the input. I really want to get to CO in Dec for their 2 night stop in Steamboat Springs. We are buying a house with close date of the Monday afterwards so TBD. I stream most of their shows as soon as they publish them on YT. I would imagine that's part of the reason for their following - easy access to high quality video recordings of their shows. Butter Rum and Arcadia are two of my favorites.
Goose has a ton of potential. Great vocals and their jams can definitely get there. Love me a good 20 minute Drive
Listening to 11.21.97 right now. Ghost > Bag -> Slave never gets old. Who else is going to Charleston?
Trey announced Big Cypress at this show. Not going to get my hopes up, but yeah, I’m definitely hoping they announce a Big Cypress box after this. Second set is as good as it gets. Can’t wait.
I believe I’ve read somewhere that the Big Cypress soundboards somehow got corrupted and Kevin doesn’t want to release them. Although, it’s hard to square the preceding sentence with the lower quality Freebirds and other acapella songs on SBD releases, so maybe I’m misremembering
I remember that the audience recording I got back in the day was good quality. 8 CDs that were all two thirds full at most because of song length. I should try to dig this up but I would have to find a way to even play them at this point.
My friend in Charleston cant get a ticket to the Phish shows, but today Sirius hooked him up with 2 ticket to a Philly show.

Been going deep down the Goose rabbit hole. Really enjoying and glad I’ve given a Relisten. Them and Spafford could end up with a big following
Weather for NYE run is going to be great. 50 and sunny on Saturday. ISO pair for 12/28 if anybody knows of any
