This definitely seems like a step down from previous Washington teams. Playing Utah with a bowl on the line would be pretty awesome.
A couple of drives for the defense that reminds me of the USC game. Doing 95 % correct but can't make the big play.
Am I happy? Yes am I going to be able to stop thinking about Air Force, UofA, and particularly USC this week? No.
That latest CU Video ep included the play where we stripped Slovis and somehow didn’t recover the fumble. I wanted to throw up.
Not sure about winning, but I do really like the +28.5 right now. Bad weather means lots of running, keeping the clock going. Plus hopefully we go more with our ground game and keep the ball out of Montez hands.
Should be strength on strength, bone on bone, running through chin strap type shit. No way they cover those points.
Yup. Our team is basically brand new with one guy from last year's team. Really no clue what to expect. They looked bad against TCU until they suddenly didn't and won the game after being down 15. Really streaky shooters and young guys with some talent, but who also make rookie mistakes.
What do you guys think about Utah being used as your “rival” would you want to somehow be able to schedule a traditional rival instead? Kinda like Stanford and ND do at the end of the year?
Utah is pretty meh for our fan base but they would definitely hate us if some miraculous happened today. Most point at ASU because they are trash people and everybody hates USC but we never beat the Trojans. I'd prefer rotating between CSU and Nebraska.
