Oh, I thought you were just being difficult. We need them to do transfers on guns we order out of state. And now in state as well.
Need suggestions for my brother tia. I won 540 dollars in a raffle and wanted to get him his first gun. The raffle ticket can either buy the Ruger American Rifle with Vortex Scope https://www.scheels.com/p/ruger-ame...x-crossfire-ii-3-9x40-scope/736676-16931.html Or can act as a 540 gift card. Was more looking to hover 100 to 250 dollars more for a decent entry level bolt action/rifle in general. Has to be bought from Scheels. Also looking at the entry lev AR15 with the Smith & Wesson M&P Sport II.
The ruger american with a vortex scope is pretty much the perfect entry level bolt action rifle. That's what I would have suggested if you came in asking without any direction.
Question I think I am having an issue with my new Tikka T3X bolt handle being hard to open after firing. When cocked, the bolt would cycle smoothly, but once fired it took a lot of effort to operate the action. When the gun is cocked the cocking indicator rests in a small slot on the bolt. When the gun is fired the cocking indicator drops down into the deep groove of the bolt. When the action is re-cocked, the cocking indicator is moved from the deep slot to the shallow slot thus re-cocking it. But it's awfully hard to work the bolt. It's a couple days old. Would it be wise to return it?
Anyone familiar with and trigger change on a Weatherby? Looking to swap out the factory for A Timney or Jewel.
State changed the laws. Previously the firearms dealer would do the FBI NICS check and as a CPL holder I would go home with my pistola 15-20 minutes later. Now, the state has decided to burden our local PD/Sheriff with the task of submitting the NICS checks, so instead of a FFL-NICS-FFL system we had we now have a FFL-PD-NICS-PD-FFL system that has been taking up to 30 days and beyond to complete.
FYI Primary Arms has a Black Friday package - Trijicon RMR type 2 w/ matching suppressor night sights for $460
Picked up a kel-tec CMR 30 and took it out over thanksgiving. Fun plinker with a red dot but tons of gas in your face when shooting suppressed. Didn't take any pics but looks like this one just with a VFG. Might end up trading it on an AR-9.
I like that they skeletonized the trigger and have that Wilson X-Tac style cuts. Old ones were a bit more plain looking and if it is wet out you can forget about gripping the slide to rack it.
I bought 500 rounds for the AR last week :/ Felt like a prepper, but last hurricane people were breaking into gas stations and foot lockers.
