Fire em all. New HC, bring me Joe Brady as OC. Give him Minshew, trade Foles for pennies on the dollar, find an NFL WR in the draft, and then hit the O and D line hard. Just reboot it all. Again.
Prefer it, quite frankly. Give me close losses with the offense looking competent under Minshew the rest of the season.
We've put some pretty bad offensive lines out there the past decade or so, but this may be the worst.
Not sure I have heard booing that loud at a Jags game before. What a shitshow. Completely noncompetitive. Glad I gave up season tickets this year. This is the time of year where everyone around us is paying 10% of face value. As an aside, the Jags contacted us this morning about the distillery becoming a sponsor next year. Great fucking timing.
Going for history today boys, most consecutive blowouts. Real banner day for your #Jacksonville Jaguars
Spending Sunday watching RZ hoping for all teams close to us in draft slot to win. A December tradition for jags fans.
OL - what happened to Robinson? Taylor not doing well? WR - Chark and Westbrook? DL - Taven and Allen? LB - Myles? DB - Ramsey
Honestly it's hard to tell player by player. I'm not going to pretend to be a scout. Only player I feel safe in saying is good is Allen.
-Robinson took a huge step back this year, Taylor has been a rookie -Chark is the man, everyone else is mediocre to trash -Myles has SUCKED after getting paid. He has been absolutely horrendous in both run and pass this year. It could be him having no protection up front with the DT injuries, but his drop off has been most noticeable. - DB biggest concern in FA
I'd love to use one of the first round picks for a left tackle and move Robinson inside. Taylor has played pretty well. The interior OL is flat trash. Chark is awesome. Westbrook is too small. Everyone else is JAG. Unfortunately, you may not be able to address every position in one draft. They need to move Jack back outside. He was a good OLB. He sucks in the middle. Hell Payne hasn't been horrible at MLB. I feel certain we will spend a high draft pick on a CB. Really hope Derrick Brown falls to us in the first round. If not, improve the OL then find a CB. Sign Ngakoue and give yourself a badass pair of DEs with which the next coach and front office can work. Ultimately though, we don't have a QB. Probably have to make due with Foles/Minshew next year and spend a high pick on one in 2021.
Spoiler I recognized your joke. But seeing as how we passed on Watson for Fournette because we had a proven liability at QB in the form of BLAKE FUCKING BORTLES, I know would fuck up drafting TL if he was available.
Yikes. The NFLPA revealed that of all grievances filed against teams over the last two years, more than 25 percent have been filed against the Jaguars. NFLPA won an arbitration grievance against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Said Jags tried requiring players to get all offseason medical treatment at team facility, which contravenes the CBA. “You as players may want to consider this when you have a chance to select your next club.” pic.twitter.com/S1eyqqw8cg — Dan Graziano (@DanGrazianoESPN) December 16, 2019 "You as players may want to consider this when selecting your next club," is as scalding as it's going to get in a public statement released by the Players Association. Perhaps not-so-coincidentally, Tom Coughlin took over the Jaguars' front office in 2016.
Player that was fined 700k was fowler. No wonder he wanted out. Not that it wasn’t already time for coughlin to go but gotta get rid of him when the nflpa is out there telling players to not sign with with jags.
Khan really is deserving of being mentioned alongside Snyder as worst owner. I really enjoyed his comment about needing to play in London every year because the fans won’t support 8 home games despite pretty decent attendance numbers through a HORRIFIC decade of football. His goal is to get this team to London, I don’t think he’s really all that interested in building a winning franchise. Wouldn’t be surprised if he names his son as Coughlins replacement.
Heard from some pretty connected folks that the Khans intend to retain Caldwell and Marrone. I can’t even imagine.
I think Marrone has done a pretty good job of holding these guys together while being continually undercut by Tom. Whether or not that means he deserves another year is debatable- the problem in keeping him is that Wash has to go and what decent DC is going to come here for a one year risk- Caldwell should have been walked out with Tom.
If Khan’s plan is to blame this all on TC and consider his work done by just firing him then he truly is the worst owner in the league.
