Currently Coachella and the Symbiosis Eclipse festival in Argentina for me next year. May need to add in Lightning In A Bottle or Movement.
Nice, haven't seen Run the Jewels on any other lineups, so maybe this means they're going to tour again
Lightning in a Bottle is coming out this weekend. It’s one of my favorite festivals. If the lineup is wompy enough, I’ll be there. I have thus far this year: Coachella LIB or Movement If I’m not in Ireland, I’ll be at Burning Man Symbiosis (in Argentina) for the solar eclipse festival
Had an amazing time at Primavera in 2017 and want to go back - that’s a great lineup but probably not enough for me to get back out there. I’m on the bubble for Coachella this year, so probably just in for the new LA version of Primavera in September
Still unofficial leak, but seems accurate. Yeah. They're on the outs I think. We didn't go last year but it just continues to be recycled Phil sets and worsening undercards. Not sure why the move, maybe they thought they'd get better attendance. But they've also now made Thursday it's own separate ticket, and prices continue to increase. Just all around shitty. They got rid of late night sets last year on the bigger 2nd stage and moved them deeper into the woods at a small stage with smaller acts. Presumably because of noise. The rumor going around is they're just going to build a big independent venue out there and ditch the fest. I don't know, but it wouldn't surprise me if this is the last Lockn, after hearing that for several years now. I mean hell they moved the fest up a couple months and still havent dropped a lineup, when last year they already had a lineup out at this point for a later fest. It's just constant nonsense over there with Shappy and Frey.
I'm not the biggest jam head, but I like to jam out. This looks like the worst lineup they've had. Some good acts, but seems meh. I always wanted to go. Tom Petty headlined one year. But it was always during middle of September, and I wasn't missing Florida kick our ass again. Then they moved to it prior to Labor Day. Now this. Yeah, festival graveyard is coming.
Yeah I think that was the same year Petty did Hangout and Roo. Saw him at Roo/Lockn. They also had Allman Bros that year and Winwood with Panic. Was a great year. And like their 2nd year. Been downhill since Phish headlined really, even though a couple years ago was a ton of fun with Dead Co and others.
