There’s a concerted effort to get Snyder’s (confirmed) 3.5 hour version of JL released as if that’ll make it any less bad
Sorry, haters. Gal Gadot is the most beautiful woman on the planet. And it’s not even really close at this point.
Right, but those movies + WW at least implied that she wasn't active from the end of WW1-BvS, and also that she hadn't seen Steve since he died in 1918 or whatever year that was.
the entire plot of this movie leaked. i'm only linking a link to a reddit thread that has it so you can't accidently see it. Spoiler link here: Code: https://old.reddit.com/r/DCEUleaks/comments/e7iekl/vieweranons_ww1984_spoilers_full_summary/
It sucks they couldn't get John David Washington for the role, but with a black Gordon and a multiracial Catwoman, that might have moved too far for some.
pretty sure they casted Barbara Gordon so I’d assume she’d be black as well at any rate, the cast is absolutely stacked so I’m encouraged
https://dc.fandom.com/wiki/Barbara_Gordon_(New_Earth) Following 1984's continuity-altering CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS event, Barbara was given a new history. After the tragic deaths of her biological parents, Barbara, now better known as “Babs,” was adopted by her uncle, Jim Gordon, in Gotham City. There, she became obsessed with the city's Caped Crusader, Batman. One night, she discovered her father, the commissioner of the GCPD, regularly had secret meetings with the Dark Knight. That moment inspired Barbara to dedicate herself to the dream of becoming a Super Hero. She enrolled in martial arts classes, began studying to become a PhD student, and honed her craft as a crimefighter until she was ready to make her debut as Batgirl. Though she began her life wearing Batman’s symbol independently, she quickly won the attention of Batman and the first Robin, Dick Grayson. She worked closely with Dick until she was accepted as a partner of the Dark Knight.
Interestingly Mark Bernardin (Fatman I’m Batman) argues that Batman should always be white I still will always Stan for my half-Indian period piece imperialism Bond though Clown Baby
Another release date that'll get it swallowed up by bigger movies. April 1, 2022 is one week before Into the Spiderverse sequel and a month before Black Panther 2, and there's usually a big late-March release that'll eat into it as well.
Green Lantern series. HBO has said they want to make lower budget DC movies as well. Maybe other shows.
2021 is going to have sooooo many comic book movies February: Shang Chi May: Dr. Strange June: Batman July: Spider-Man August: Suicide Squad November: Thor December: Black Adam
