100% this. Woke up early this morning hoping to sneak in a few missions and my 4 year old is just chilling on the couch like “what’s up”
Modern Warfare beta is open to Xbox now for people who have pre-ordered the game. Believe it opens up to everyone tomorrow afternoon. Curious to see how this game turns out.
P.S. If you have Game Pass, download World War Z. The game is SO much fun. It's basically Left 4 Dead for XB1....with like thousands of Zombies on screen at a time.
The Outer Worlds is on gamepass at launch on Friday, if you like Fallout, it’s from Obsidian, and reviews have been very good.
Afterparty (on Game Pass) is predictably hilarious. Do yourselves a favor and play through it. Night School Studios is just fantastic at what they do.
Outer worlds reminds me of all the good new fallout games (read not fallout 4), has humor and charm and good gameplay mechanics. Inventory management system isn’t my favorite but my only real complaint.
New Call of Duty is a lot of fun although its basically an overpowered shotgun and claymores everywhere. Feels much more like the old COD games which I appreciate. New Stars Wars game comes out in a couple of weeks. EA Access gives you 10 hours for free (4-5 days earlier than release) and a $10 discount on the game if you wanna buy it. 100% gonna buy it. Still need to try Outer Worlds and Afterparty. Per usual, I have too many great games to play
Is there somewhere to know what games are upcoming in advance on Game Pass Ultimate? Especially those bigger games.
There’s an Xbox gamepass twitter account that tweets them out a little before they’re officially announced.
New Battlefield V stuff is pretty dope. I bought Borderlands 3 and FIFA recently, and I have a backlog of GamePass games. I don't think I'm gonna buy anything til Cyberpunk comes out.
The Show will no longer be Playstation exclusive in 2021 https://kotaku.com/playstations-baseball-studio-is-releasing-games-on-riva-1840328526
i'm so confused at why someone would care about losing an exclusive when you're still getting the game
only argument i see is it diluting the player base but everything should be cross play by then so you cant even make that into a bad argument
stupid question but if that’s an argument couldn’t you just continue to play on your console of choice and not play with the “diluted” player base?
I think what he meant by diluted is that some users that would normally play on PS4 may choose a different platform for whatever reason and lead to decline in population on the platform. He’s also right that just enabling crossplay makes that a nonissue since you would just add those same players and new ones to the overall population.
the player base would be diluted because it would be split between multiple consoles rather than all on one. but like i said, i dont think that argument is relevant anymore because i expect everything to be cross play by that point.
Does anyone actually care what a console looks like? Never once factored into my decision. Don’t think it looks bad at all either.
Best news of 2019. Wolf Among Us Season 2 just got announced. If you don't know about this game, do yourself a favor and play through the first season NOW.
Outer worlds is awesome. Can't believe it's free. Also, gta was just added. Never played that one. https://www.eurogamer.net/amp/2020-01-03-grand-theft-auto-5-joins-xbox-game-pass-today
