Have AJ drop US title this weekend. Have the OC down to even odds in Balor v Cole match. Give me Club v Undisputed Era forever
AJ already has dropped the US titles a couple Raws back to Mysterio. I think the OC will stay put on Raw with AJ feuding with Orton now, but Balor should be getting himself a stable soon if not this upcoming week. However, I would be down with the OC vs UE feud.
I remembered Breeze moved back to NXT but last I remembered of fandango was that he had gotten released
Can confirm what Bankz said, New Day pod is really good. Thought it was great in episode 2 when they talked about how its fucked up that they were working to try to come up with a product that would make the show more entertaining but since they weren't in the golden circle of 6-8 guys, the company gave them no resources or anything to work with. Basically what we've all complained about forever.
Per Meltzer, the median age of Dynamite’s audience is now 46. The numbers keep skewing older and older. It’s not great news for either company on Wednesday’s.
"Both shows opened with 17,000 teenagers, which is terrible, and a sign teenagers have lost interest." Meltzer was very negative about the trends for both shows this week. Both are losing younger viewers in big numbers.
Did you make that pearl ? Not trying to trash you, just think you're way off. But maybe you had different criteria than I would idk. Baezler has been champ for how long now? I love Candace but she'd have to be A tier. To could argue Ronda as an S but since her future is unknown at this point I get that. Admittedly I've hardly kept up with WWE in recent months but I think Conti/Brooke/Ember/Mia/IIconics could all be shifted.

Is that really that weird though? Are the Wednesday night shows really targeted at teenagers? That’s closer to the target of Raw and Smackdown that are more on the entertainment side of sports entertainment. The audience for NXT and AEW are basically those of us in this thread
AEW has a merchandising agreement with Hot Topic, so it isn’t great for them. Also, the lack of teenagers watching the show makes the median age that much older. When AEW goes to negotiate a better TV deal, having a median audience of 46 instead of 36 makes a huge deal. Yeah, AEW is winning the most important demo, but they aren’t killing it like they were. This is just another an issue they have to overcome if they want to start making money on a TV deal.
PCO won the ROH World Title last night. It’s a cool story, but man is ROH just kind of existing. I can’t say it’s bad, I can’t say it’s good. It’s just a thing people know about but aren’t actively interested in.
He’s not wrong... especially when he says the honeymoon phase is over. They need to figure out what they are... ROH has in the past been where young up and coming wrestlers put on 4 and 5 star classics. It’s all about wrestling. They have lost off its stars to WWE/NXT and what was left is in AEW. Both those programs are filling on a national level what ROH was. So it’s become the United States version of Impact. Not bad, not great, just content for the ultra hardcore of fan base. I can’t seem them reinventing. They need to hope to find some talent that can captivate because they are lacking stars exclusive to them a casual fan would want to tune into to watch.
Yeah I wouldn’t be to worried about the teenager demo at this point. AEW was for the lapsed fan. They have said it every chance they could. The lapsed WCW and WWE fan isn’t a teenager.
Man that looks like something that could easily go real bad if you fuck up, like more so than normal in wrestling
Going to my first GCW show in January Going to my first AEW show in February Gonna be a good year of grapplefuckery
this has gotta be the most robotic, emotionless crowd I've ever seen, barely reacting to anything outside of when circumstances dictate a specific chant
