I feel like the hype videos they make each week now are the equivalent of when Saban would pick a movie to show the team on Friday nights.
that's a bad call but I also think it's the only other conceivable argument. if LSU and OU just have a shootout and Hurts is "on", he's going to end up with a 4000/1000 season which is crazy good.
I can’t help but root for and have respect for this kid. I’m for OSU overall in the playoffs but happy to see someone work as hard as this kid did and be able to see himself earn 110% of every accolade he’s been given. Kid has balls of steel and seems to be pretty well liked everywhere he’s been. Hope he sees a very successful career.
Never forget. Nebraska turned down a legacy Heisman winner NOT ONCE but TWICE. Their incompetence knows no bounds.
Joe only felt more disrespected by OSU when he transferred, than Nebraska. Sleep well. He was never going to Nebraska, even if they asked.
Burrow seems like a great dude. Between him and Coach O and fatigue from the other programs they are definitely who I am rooting for in the playoffs. How the fuck was Chase Young 4th in voting?
I am aware but even then I still don't get how voters came to that conclusion. It is all optics but Burrow and Young I felt were just a step above everyone else this year
You’re not wrong. There’s no upside for Chase being higher. Fields returns next year and Hurts plays Burrow in a couple weeks.
Jared Christopher @JaredLChris Vegas had two bettors place a $2,000 preseason Heisman bet on Joe Burrow at 200/1 odds. One of those bettors was Jim Burrows, Joe’s Dad.
These quotes seem stupid He wasn't good at all in 2018. They are all correct. He got better bc of Joe Brady and became great. No one is denying the later
He completed 58% of his passes. He had 16 TDs and 5 INT. His rating was 133. A Heisman campaign? No. But to say he "wasn't good at all" is idiotic. Moreso than the hot takes Congressman quoted
