On the same day that The Base smuggles an ex-Canadian soldier into the United States. This report surfaces. Lovely.
so now it comes out that it was ordered that way through the app and the cop himself chose "pig" as his name... as it's the only way to circumnavigate the profanity filter, Starbucks label software is tightly regulated with what they will print. So he Juicy Smolyayed the whole thing.
Put your hands behind your back despite the fact that I’m making it physically impossible for you to do that.
It appears are claiming he grabbed the female officer and wouldn’t let her go. Obviously there is no footage of that. I mean why wouldn’t a cuffed individual surrounded by cops do something like.
I don't buy it. He was so compliant in the video. We're not talking about a drugged up guy acting crazy or a mentally ill person acting out and needing to be restrained. I don't buy that he went from perfect behavior to demon in 2 seconds behind closed doors. I just don't.
no one with a working brain would. At most he probably said something they found disrespectful. Him being brown might have been enough.
And they appear to know it when they walked him down there; they’re looking back at the camera as they put gloves on and walk him down that hall.
I hope no one thinks I am defending the cops. I just read that was their excuse so I posted it. I don’t believe them and don’t think anyone else should. They tried to kill that man and I can’t think of anything that would justify their actions.
jesus fucking christ. i don't care what that kid did, that cop should be fired and charged with whatever he can be charged with immediately.
Should be arrested. Any other person would be if they did that. Him being law enforcement doesn't make him above the law. Well, at least it shouldn't.
I thought I saw that he was arrested and charged as well or train people not to put their guns in their waistbands like they are gangsters or living in the wild west?
I would imagine that a sheriff would have received this type of training already and yet here we are.
yea, accidents do happen, unfortunately. Everyone in a car accident with a valid license received training, yet somehow car accidents still happen. We try harder to eliminate mistakes and better train people, we don't take cars off the road.
We don’t take cars off the road when accidents happen but those found to be at fault have to pay and are forced to carry insurance. We also track ownership and transfer of cars and like you said everyone who’s authorized to drive must receive training that does not happen with guns. You right wingers with this “herp derp what about cars” bullshit crack me up, you’re flat out proving the point of those you oppose.
So when I said "train people", what did you think that meant? I haven't voted for a Republican for President since Bush. I am an awful "right winger". It's not bullshit if you just listen to what I say instead of reading off of you left wing talking points response sheet. Did he say cars?? oh, I have the prefect response!
Yes, you’re a right winger, voting libertarian does not mean you’re not a right winger especially when you spout all the same talking points. Someone correctly points out that arming teachers is stupid because accidents happen and your response is to go into a dog whistle lace herp derp about training people when the incident discussed involves a sheriff and then you follow that up with the right wing propaganda about cars, but you’re not a rwnj? Again point blank training is not enough but I know you oppose because it goes against the right wing stance.
No matter what we are talking about, people with training will make mistakes. Humans are imperfect. it's an unfortunate side effect of being human. The question should be: does the benefit outweigh the deleterious effect of inevitable human error? Focusing on either just the positive or just the negatives is never a great or fair approach. So yea, mistakes are made with guns. Mistakes are made with cars. Mistakes are made with cleaning products. and knives. and on and on and on. Pointing out that a mistake happened with a gun, therefor we should eliminate guns is not a sensible argument because it does not take into account the positive effect a gun in a school can have. If it were an honest evaluation that weighed good and bad and came to a conclusion, it would be different. But "hey there was an accident with a gun, we need to make sure none of them are in schools" is not that. By the same token, a teacher saving children's lives with a gun is not by default enough evidence that we should be arming teachers in every school. There are real negative consequences possible if guns are in schools. Those need to be acknowledged and be part of the discussion. Wouldn't a right winger vote for Republicans?? Spin it!
No where did anyone see that we should ban guns, but in typical right wing fashion here you are arguing as though someone did because any criticism of guns must be treated as though people want to ban guns. Perhaps you should stop projecting and stop parroting right wing propaganda.
you wanted a simplified version. I'll elaborate. "There was an accident in a school with a gun, therefor we should not have guns in schools" is not a fair or intelligent assessment.
That’s not what happened and not what was said, at all. How are you commenting on something you didn’t even bother reading? You didn’t even bother reading the headline and here you are commenting on the story just because you couldn’t wait to go your dog whistle laced rant.
My bad, he had his gun in a Walmart, shot the floor, injured a kid. Therfore we should not have guns in schools. That does make a lot more sense. "There was an accident in a Walmart with a gun, therefor we should not have guns in schools" is not a fair or intelligent assessment.
Your bad? You make it seem as though commenting on a topic without even reading the headline is no big deal, perhaps you should stop doing that. Also no one said we shouldn’t have guns in schools, but again any criticism of guns seems to trigger all you rwnj.
I read the article initially but going back and forth, dumbing it down for you, etc. I mistakenly thought it happened in a school. My bad. The overall point remains though. It's not a fair assessment to condemn guns being in schools, or arming teachers, based on a sheriff in a Walmart having an accident with a gun.
