Another one that we've had good experience with, that I don't think as many people have heard of, is Z gallerie. Have a good quality table and buffet from them, though the color of the two were supposed to be the same and they don't quite match. We did send the buffet back three times before we got one that we were ok with and they didn't charge us for it and I don't recall them giving us much of a hassle about it.
was given an apple watch - any suggestions on bands? I've always used a metal band on my EDC watch, but was looking at Barton Watch Bands and thinking about options...
Hit up amazon and find anything you like for $8-$15. I have about a half dozen different ones. I’ll edit this with a few links.
sorry I should have been more specific I'm looking for a down filled, gore shell band that performs in high wind and wet conditions and may or may not need to be pre-chilled in a freezer prior to use
I'm stuck between these two laptops. Any thoughts? (or are both trash?) To me it's SSD and 2-in-1 (which I'm not sure I'll use) v. 1TB (which I'm not sure I need) and lower price https://www.microcenter.com/product...156-2-in-1-laptop-computer---gray?storeid=151 https://www.microcenter.com/product/611883/hp-pavilion-15-cs2073cl-156-laptop-computer---blue
Sweet, thank you. That was the way I was leaning too. For something I'll use for 10 hrs a day for 4 years it's worth that money
I have joined the Tiny Home club. Just wired my down payment: https://www.escapetraveler.net/vista-boho Spoiler Going to look at properties this weekend, have one in mind that I could pull the trigger on next week. Expect to have land purchased and house on property by February/March. Hopefully purchasing 1/2 to 3/4 of an acre, would like to put a 2nd Tiny Home on the property if this does well during the summer.
Just a few from the link posted. i’ll update the airbnb thread when the home hits the market. TMB discount if you book 10+ nights
I have access to consumer reports premium content if anyone has any specific requests let me know and I’ll post them in the thread when I get a chance. Can we attach PDFs to posts?
New SUP, very fun. So wide it’s like walking topside on an aircraft carrier, but it’s been great for helping me practice footwork.
I had a response typed out about this but it sounded douchey. Long story short I traveled to Amsterdam and Antwerp for a few weeks and my coworkers kept accusing me of using a dry cleaners or bringing starch with me to the hotels. I just hung them up when i got there and by the next day I was good to go.
Ba bad ass man, you have my interest. How does water work and where are you looking for land? You can easily clear the monthly payment through Airbnb rentals, especially if you go close to a ski resort.
Water and electric work just like regular -- just have to get the utilities hooked up. Looking at Ashford first, then maybe Whidbey. I have a pretty strict budget for this first one, and it's damn near impossible to get financing for land, so it will just have to be a cash sale. Limits options. Mt. Baker/Stevens Pass are on the radar, too. Olympic Peninsula is my #1 choice, but land is super damn expensive out there.
I saw their site list one someone rents in WA for $120 a night. You could cover quite a bit of expenses on this if you're turning that kind of profit
https://slickdeals.net/f/13717922-6...tant-chalk-500-free-shipping?src=featured-cat Just got this TCL 65" 6 series for 499. Hopefully good. I have 2 of the cheaper 4 series 49" I've been happy with.
Lost access to a wood splitter, but before I went out and bought one I figured splitting by hand was worth a college try. Hadnt ever used a maul but it was slightly stunning how easily it split what I tested it on. Thinking because the wood was not cured the moisture inside froze from sustained cold thus making it ready to split from minimal force. Not sure, but I doubt I'll ever buy a wood splitter in my life if it's this easy by hand when I have no idea what I'm doing
Got this for a spare room and it works fine. https://www.samsclub.com/p/vizio-36in-2-1-soundbar/prod21261316
I have a shitty Sony deal I got at target or Walmart that does the job if that’s what you’re looking for. If you’re going to be spending some $$ definitely go Sonos.
Very happy with this purchase https://slickdeals.net/f/13395262-l...-sl9yg-4-1-2-339-free-shipping?src=SiteSearch
I have a Polk Audio SB1 that sounds amazing but may not be the easiest to interface with if you’re trying to stream music for your phone (wants you to use their app), thankfully it came with a Bluetooth attachment and that works great. Buddy of mine has a Bose setup that sounded great too but I think was over $1200 for soundbar and sub.
