Let's lose some games. Haskins seemed to look better in the first half yesterday. He still hasn't really had a good game yet. I know the offense kinda sucks around him
Haskins seemed to play a little better these past two games. Sucks he got hurt. Hopefully nothing serious. Dolphins are playing thier way into a draw. Unless something really stupid happens, we get the #2 pick. Chase Young or a fuck load of picks?? Feel like you gotta go generational DE, even with all the holes we have
Dolphins win like morons. Only 3 loss team, I believe. Sucks the best OL in college football isn't draft eligible
Chase Young is better than either Bosa, you take him. Have a ton of cap space to get a half capable OL, even with Smith's contract. We'll have like $90-$100 mil in cap space after getting rid of Williams, Norman, Richardson, Kerrigan, and Reed. Complete rebuild with likely the same results bc Snyder
I didnt realize we had thst much cap space. It's amazing we're in a really good cap position and really don't have any bad contracts except Alex Smith. But I guess that means we really don't have any good players either. Draft Young, take a few OL. Hopefully trade Trent Williams for a second, Take Utahs RB... ... All of this doesn't matter bc Snyder
Weapons on offense have looked promising, nice core around Haskins. If only Guice could stay healthy.
Sweat-Chase Young with these young WRs and I may actually become a fool again and look forward to watching this team.
If Allen is gone, any chance Williams comes back or has that ship sailed? Could really use him but if they have to move him and can get a late 1 or early second then it lessens the blow.
Highly doubt it and I'd be shocked if we got more than a mid-round pick for him, dude lost a big part of his skull plus all the other injuries.
Someone who's not a washed up failure. Preferably someone Snyder didn't make the entire decision on, as well. Hire a football guy in the FO and let them conduct a search
So we are hiring Ron Rivera. Apparently he's going to keep our OC and hire a new DC. No idea if our current OC is worth a shit, but I guess it gives Haskins some continuity
he was OC for the first Super Bowl run of the Ravens in 00. then he was Wannstedt's OC at Pitt for a few years. he stumbled up pretty well.
He's the old OC. Kevin O'Connell is the OC. He must be super nice to the media because they all gush about him.
oh shit, i saw Cavanaugh's name on the staff still, didn't realize he was demoted. i remember O'Connell at SD State. how the fuck is he coaching at this level already? this year was his 4th season coaching at any level.
Not going to get too excited because let’s face it they are still the Skins but the potential is there for this team to improve and be good.
You just oversaw the worst offense in the nfl. Haskins likes him and may have potential but the drooling over him seems absurd
Gruden and Callahan both controlled the offense so he was coordinator in title only. I have no idea if he’ll actually be a good o-coordinator but seems respected across the league not just within the organization
I just got a little pissed at how the tweet sounded like he'd be interviewing Rivera instead of the other way around.
Let's not act like football is the same. We have a fuck load of super young guys all over the league. Moore in Dallas is similar
Dream scenario... Burrow goes 1, LA tries to move up with Skins who say no, they make a deal with Detroit which then means Miami is desperate for Tua. Let’s make it happen! If Burrow falls to #2, would there be a bidding war for him?
I have never said this before in all my years as a Redskins fan.. I've been as loyal as possible despite the ineptitude of the last 20+ years.. If this Tua BS is not some smoke screen, and they end up taking that fuck with the #2 pick, and pass on the best pass rusher in the last 10+ years in CY2, who is sitting right in their lap, I am officially denouncing this team. I'll never get over it. I'll boycott them for the rest of my existence, and will watch the NFL with no allegiance.. I can't believe they are going to fuck this up..
Imma say it's a smoke screen for teams who might want to trade up past 3. Its not crazy to think we could trade down, maybe get two first this year and a 1st+ next year. Basically an RG3 type move
If they do that, and get a haul like 2 firsts, a second, and can draft a guy like Okudah who I'm telling you is a top tier corner, which is a huge position of need, I'll be fine... if they draft Tua, I'm fucking deuces with this team...
