Neither of those teams were very scary. I’m not opposed to resting starters or at least anyone with a bruise next week. Sea may be able to pull it off but I’d rather guys get healthy.
id be so fucking bummed going 13-3 and still not getting a bye. edit: You want to know the really shitty thing. The last time a 13-3 team didnt get a bye, was also the Saints (2011)
Feeling like we might get body bagged tonight unless Marshawn saves us or we actually let RW throw it 50 times
Green Bay is joke. Not worried about the possibility of seeing them in playoffs. but we need this bye. Go hawks? I got sick just typing that. I need a shower now
Only reason I’m worried about GB is it could be negative degrees and a frozen field, weather can be a great equalizer and allow for football fuckery
We'll just do what the rams did last year. Lose to our eventually NFC championship opponent in the regular season and beat them at home to go to the SB.
If can review that and choose not to what was the point of screwing us over last year in the first place. What is the point of any of the reviewed PI rule if you cared more about coaches stopping the game demanding every PI is reviewed then you did about getting calls right.
this is factually wrong. in 1999 the titans missed out on a bye despite going 13-3. edit: nevermind, titans didnt win their division, i skipped over that part
I still look at 2011 as the season that got away (at least before last year was stolen from us). If we stop the 49ers on that last drive I think we beat the Giants in the dome to go to the Super Bowl
IIRC wasn’t that the year we had beaten the Giants just a few weeks before and they didn’t even make it to mid field until like the 4th quarter, like we beat the fuck out of them maybe right before Xmas
It was the Sunday night game of the week. Almost certain. I think we had like 6 prime time games in 2011
There's no doubt in my mind that we would have throttled NYG in the NFC title. Who knows if we would have beaten NE in the Super Bowl but we would have at least gotten there had we beat SF.
thanks for reminding me Adam. This is like a swift kick right in the dick. Vikes played better today, their DL beat our OL pretty consistently.
Kamara’s bad year, oline health, Brees’ turnovers, and Payton’s playcalling worry me. not sure how many snaps Taysom got but feels he’s too good to just be a situational guy. If anything have him out there as a decoy
Kamara has been banged up all year. Nowhere near as explosive or strong in his lower body. Goes down on first contact every time this season where it was impossible last year. Hope he can get back to his old form
