BLO2 hands down. Best maps, guns, zombies everything. They need to bring back extinction from Ghosts though.
I somehow never got this alert, but I have been contemplating picking back up. Wanted to see how reviews were and who is playing.
Gimme spray and pray over constant camping/head glitching. Game has no flow and each game type consists of me and a guy in the other team one v one each other while everyone else camps their balls off.
I’ve never had a team death match end because of time except the one large map with the trench on the far side. Most matches I play it’s a good mix of running and camping. I always try to just hold a area of a map, be a building or street. I think most people fail to realize that if you were to just have a squad of 3-4 guys that play together and hold one spawn side you could destroy people. So many people want to just run into the middle and spray and see what happens. Just hold down the shooting lanes and you could win 75% of the games
The maps are so veiny and shooting lanes are everywhere. Also I call BS on never reaching TL and not being over run by campers. It’s every game for me
I have had time limit reached on that one map and I would say the cave map probably too. There is always a camper but I don’t consider a guy a window watching a street and another building a camper. A camper is a guy just watching a doorway or sitting in a corner waiting for you to pass by him.
I've had a couple games that were really bad , like really bad. But for the most part it's not bad . I'm generally just running around killing TLAU
This game could probably be fixed by ditching killstreaks tbh and using score streaks. That May be the single worst thing this game has done
Ok to what part? IF you run around as much as you say you do a you are either getting 20 kills or 20 deaths and that's almost a third of total kills needed to win or lose. What do you consider a camper then? Anyone who doesn't grab a MP5 or MP7 and just run and hip fire. I try to play smart and limit my deaths, yeah it's great you got 17 kills but you died 19 times, thats not good.
I can agree with this, 3 kills AUV, 5 Kills strike and 7-8 kills a attack chopper. I would just love to see them make people actually aim and not just spray or do the quick scope shit. If you jump your aim should be all over the board, same with if you try to lay down shit, you aim should be all over the place. They have just geared it too much to the run and gun people.
I’m even in this game. I’m traditionally a 2kd high scoring player in COD. I play the objective. In TDM I like to be able to patrol an area of the map and lock it down or flank. TDM in this game is basically run to a head glitch/window, claymore your flank and ADS. It’s not fun. I will say that shoot House is a fucking blast
To be fair I usually skip the IW installments and stick with treyarchs offerings. I knew what I was getting into and now I’m just shitting on something I knew I would not like when I jumped into it.
Just so we are clear I wasn’t saying you were one of those bitching players. I just laugh at those guys who say I suck cause I only got 11 kills, yes I didn’t kill as many as you but I only died 6-7 times where as you dies 19 times and only killed 17, you’re the one that helped lose the game. I think the other thing that kill these games are the missions or challenges. I don’t k ow how many times I’ve said play the objective and I get a “ I need shorty head shots or I need long distance kills so I’m just going to not play the obj.
I’ve randomly joined games you were in. Even one gunfight in the gulag. Hopefully you and your CUTIG clan mate were very impressed
These statements aren’t true. Your sample size is too small. TDM isn’t that bad for camping and it only ends in time limit if it’s 6v3 or something. Camping in search and destroy is a problem though.
I’ve played 12 hours so far and these statements are 100% true. Not only that but every single map is designed (think of every wooden box tightened up to a brick wall) with camping in mind. IW has always been this way tho. Kill streaks make it worse
Camping a doorway/nook and holding an area with several high traffic rushing lanes are two completely different things. For example on Gunrunner: Camper = sitting in the shower facing the door to train spawn. Vs. My preference = proximity mine the boiler room door, get someone to watch the warehouse/woods/green building side and I watch the mine cart side + side train alley. if you’re mad that someone is sitting in front of A door, it’s valid. If you’re mad that 1-2 enemies are controlling 1/3 of the map instead of running around in the open, shove your complaints up your ass and get better at the game.
We can create a poll and see if anyone else agrees that “60% of TDM end in time limit” just to show you how much you’re exaggerating if you want. I’ve played probably up in the 250-300 hour range. and FOH with the “created with camping in mind” sorry not every map is a desert.
60% is definitely an exaggeration but it happens plenty enough to be noticeable. I don’t want any desert maps, my point is there’s head glitches parked all over every map that isn’t shoothouse.
Team backinblack23 I’d rather get 10-15 kills and < 10 deaths from “camping” than go 20:20 because I’ve convinced myself that you have to be moving at all times to be cool. Annoying as shit when you get bum rushed from the back because spawns flipped 30 seconds into the game.
I don’t gamer enough to know what a head glitch is but it sounds and area of a map where you exploit HS’s and I’ve never had a problem with that. Again probably 300 hours of play
Some guys in our party with 47 straight the other night continually bitched about non-hardcore mode being “bullet sponges” while also using an SMG modded our for extreme mobility... give me a fucking break. Don’t nerf your MP5s range to 10 feet
That’s the complaint. And not trying to defuse. Time limit should never run out or planting team player who survived should get a suicide. Honestly they should model that game as closely to Counterstrike GO as they can because it’s the best no-respawn objective based shooter ever made. 10v10 90 second rounds Bomb explosion/delusion gives player 3 kills.
This is just a fundamental difference in play style. I’m good a call of duty because of spawn knowledge and movement and I like for the game to have a higher pace. I’ve played like this my entire life and I’m farrr more likely to go 25-12 than I am 20-20. Bitching about spawn flipping is a campers complaint. Know your spawns and flow with them and you can still play at a deliberate pace w/o ever being flanked. a head glitch is a spot in the map where someone can peak only their head over and fire off shots.
They added mounting guns to the game this year and they made mounted kills a requirement to unlock certain skins on guns. So, yeah, there are more people camped up mounted staring at doors than other installments... they have also made camping tougher, by increasing the amount of entrances to different places. There are less rooms with only one way in than past games, and even those places you can usually climb into the room through a window or something. I think the game is alright, and you’ll get a better feel for where people are most likely to be mounted up on each map with more time played. Once you figure that out, I imagine you’ll be raging less.
