I think we need to stop playing Eriksen and just let Lamela and Lo Celso get way more time. Been very positive and Lamela is so willing to defend hard.
Robertson not getting carded for the same transgression that sent Auba off earlier today was awesome.
Not getting carded? He didn’t even get called for the foul. Would’ve been interesting to see if VAR overturned a goal if they ended up scoring there.
I’m ignorant when it comes to what other leagues can pay outside of the Barca, Madrid, PSG types. Can Inter Milan really pay better wages than us? Or is this a case of Eriksen just wanting change for change sake?
I don't think he's getting a big bump in pay (probably mostly his own fault given his poor form the past year), I just think he wants out of Spurs and perhaps the PL in general.
I actually think he is getting less to play for them than we were willing to pay. I saw the number quoted as $6.5 million per year which breaks down to $125K per week. I feel like we offered him in the $200K range. I suspect there is something personal that happened. maybe not exactly what was rumored, but the way this team has fallen apart and him personally it just seems like there is much more there.
Its definetly easy to hate on Eriksen and he looks like he could care less right now but this is just as much on Levy is it is on Eriksen. It was so obvious we should have sold him last offseason, and likely two years ago. When a guy is unhappy and you keep trying to hold on for every last penny this is what happens.
He’s getting more after taxes. Inter has a serious chance of dislodging juve this year for the scudetto
