I think Mass Effect 1&2 are two of the greatest games ever made but it’s shooter mechanics have nothing to do with it. Floaty movement and the reticle response is horrible. I actually liked TLOU as a TPS but it’s because it was so clunky. Made it feel more authentic imo. I think the absolute way to go with cyberpunk is FPS if it’s gonna be a fun shooter
I thought it was universally reviled, but I played it after they put the new endings in. ME2 is one of my favorite games of all time
At work, so I can't watch the video, but this should be some new gameplay. https://www.theverge.com/2019/8/30/...gameplay-footage-14-minutes-trailer-deep-dive
I was thinking that too but watching her rip that turret from it's stand and go to work was pretty legit.
I'm gonna play this 3 times. One time as a deadly but silent wall crawling samurai ninja warrior. One time as a big dumb street level brawler. And one time just to be a smooth talking corporate douchebag.
Same except it will end up being 3 times as a silent wall crawling ninja Like stealth archer in Elder Scrolls
I'm not a big fan of playing things stealthy, but I really dig that rope thing he had, and hacking stuff is fun. Game looks very intricate; can't wait.
Ending up as stealth archer is just because its the only fun option. fucking close combat in that potato engine blows massive dick.
That's definitely a lot of it. Whenever the next TES rolls out they are going to need to up their game. Open world games have came a long way since 2011.
Bethesda has lost it. Skyrim isnt even that great of a game. Fallout 4 was meh too. and i mean look at Fallout 76. Id love for 6 to be awesome, i just dont have my hopes up.
I’ll be happy when the game comes out that they took the time they needed. but right now im super upset.
Could not get into that for some reason. Felt like a discount Fallout in space. And this is the worst news ever. I was only looking forward to two games this spring and now one is delayed.
which fallout? its certainly better than the last two. new vegas was same studio. 3 was good but everything was a weird shade of gray green brown.
I realize this but it just didn't have the same feel. Not even being able to go 3rd person to view my character took a lot out of it and also the explorable world was just small and not a lot to find compared to a Fallout. And the combat in those games just aren't enough.
elder scrolls/fallout games are always better in third person and i'll fight anyone who says others. but i didnt miss it in outer worlds.
I agree and I really missed it in this. One of my favorite aspects of those games is making my character look how I want. But when I can't even see my character that goes out the window. I realize this game didn't have a huge budget but I just doubt myself missing all the things they had to cut because of that.
Disappointing but sounds like it's for the best. Cant release a super buggy game in April and destroy a lot of the goodwill you built from witcher 3. Wish more companies did this. Far too many games are unplayable upon release
I would agree, but the gunplay in this sucks as well. The good parts of Red Dead are far better than the good parts of Outer Worlds. At least in my opinion.
At this point I'm just hoping they release a version for the next gen consoles. Might just wait for that if they do.
Sucks but I’d rather they delay it and make sure it’s good instead of rushing it out. Didn’t like The Outer Worlds. No aim assist on console makes the combat incredibly unsatisfying. A great game is Outer Wilds.
