I love this show. I do; however, feel that the writing isn’t nearly as good as the talent on the screen can handle.
To be honest, i don’t watch this show for its writing. I watch it for its ridiculousness I don’t need every show to be super complex, deep and thought provoking. Sometimes I like just watching a show for pure entertainment.
Kind of thought it was a let down tbh Was ready for Casey and the tribal guy to go full special forces. Instead they just got a warrant. Wasn’t awful by any means, but just didn’t live up to the build up.
Was glad they didn’t do anything crazy but agree.... definitely seemed to easy given all the hype. Also.... just curious how the hell the becks sold them taking the kid to the militia? Like how the fuck did these right wingers think, “yes... child abduction is our purpose”
Money would be why the have him. There were a few things that irked me, the build up of Kasey going all seal team 6 on them, then he just goes and sneaks in a house and shoots a guy on the shitter. Then Chief sends his hit man to help and the guy rejects the rifle cause he has a pistol, thinking holy shit this guy is going to be a sniper with his .44mag and all he does help Kasey double tap a guy. Last thing that got me was when they all show up for the shootout and they talk about how the militia has night vision, thermal, and fortified positions then FUCKING livestock agents, not a swat team, roll in and Rip on a house and they just dismantle the militia without any casualties. Overall a good episode but could have been better. Interesting to see where they go with it next season. They seem to realize they are going to lose the ranch but how will that go down, to the tribe, because of their killing spree, will they get to keep some of it. Also be interesting to see how they all heal together, will Monica want to stay on the ranch and be part of family, what about Jamie, will his skeletons come back and will we see why Beth hates him so much?
I was really thinking he did that so that RIP would be enthusiastic bout taking the bullets for Casey. Kind of a shitty way for him to manipulate and use Rip one last time.
Just binged season 2 and this show is fucking awesome. One gripe of mine is that early in the season they were going to drive some cattle through some difficult places. Fucking show it godamnit. They always skip over that shit. Otherwise, Jaime is a fucking douche bag.
Started season 2 last night. It's pretty good so far. I feel like I should spoiler this, but it's only if you haven't seen the first ep of season 2. Spoiler Dan Jenkins is one of my favorite characters in the show. I feel like they really undersell him.
So... The Beth hating Jamie thing has gotten pretty old. I don't like that storyline at all, and while they try to explain it, I still think it's very overblown to the point where it doesn't seem rational or make much sense. I'm sure they're setting it up for them to have some kind of make-up as they are family, but they've driven the hatred point into the ground imo. Probably my biggest gripe of the show. That said, it's a small thing to nitpick, and I'm a huge fan overall.
Agree on the Beth hating Jamie part. We get it she hates her brother, she wants him dead and gone but they took it too whole new level and we get no idea why.
https://popculture.com/tv-shows/amp/2020/01/16/yellowstone-heads-peacock-latest-streaming-deal/ Really hope this isn’t true. I’m not paying NBC to watch
Per the below, it will be exclusively on peacock https://www.google.com/amp/s/deadli...vin-costner-paramount-network-1202832972/amp/
i think eventually everyone will have cable again, but it will be streamed and through providers like google and apple vs Verizon, Comcast etc
Paramount Network continues to set up residence in Yellowstone: The network has renewed the drama, headlined by Kevin Costner, for Season 4, well ahead of its third season premiere this summer. The series stars Costner as John Dutton, who controls the largest contiguous ranch in the United States. Lost vet Josh Holloway joins the action in Season 3 as Roarke Carter, a handsome, charming, shaggy-haired hedge fund manager with ambitious plans in Montana. Watch a sneak peek of him making the acquaintance of Kelly Reilly’s Beth Dutton here.
find someone who still has cable and ask for their log in and use paramount app I use my parents log in for same reason
