Get a membership. Think this year's signup is over. Usually starts around September for the following year.
I was hoping the cans were in stores, not the ol' membership. Its all good. There are a lot of beers I need to catch up on.
I have no idea how they get some of the stuff they carry. The owner is from Queens and basically turned a convenience store into the best craft beer store in Phoenix. Then the space next to it became available and he opened a tap room. Last week he gave me two cans instead of a crowler I wanted for free. Me every week:
A couple of the early alpha abstractions were a bit too sweet, and I think they got a lot of feedback on that from talking to the folks at Hop City here. If you like milkshake ipas, their truck chaser series is always on point.
I'm too lazy to edit the pics so I can post, but had a good beer drinking day so far. Lagunitas Wilitized is dank this year. As is Toppling Goliath Pseudo Sue, as always.
so keeping in mind the 3 years I was sober its been like 5 years since I've had the two beers that got me hooked on craft beer.
I stopped using untappd years ago, but I wish I hadn't because I'd love to see how many unique beers I've had at this point.
Was around 400 when I quit using it 5 years ago. I've had a ton of different beers since then, but I doubt I'm at 3k.
I started my untappd profile in 2013. Have a few check in from 2014. Then totally avoided the application until I redownloaded it in 2018. Got about 750 check ins per year since. Something like that. When I first got it way back I figured it would help me pick out beers at the store better. When I re-upped, it became apparent that I treat beer Ike Pokémon so it's more like I see I buy. I'm over 1500 unique with most coming so ce 2018.
Do you guys like 3 Floyd's? It is distributing in Tennessee now, Gumballhead might be one of my new favorites.
if you're getting 3 floyd's keep an eye out for War Pigs, it's a collaboration brewery they're part of and churns out great stuff
There Floyd's is good. A lot of restaurants all have the same generic beer list here in Chicago and the 3 Floyd's option is usually the best. I don't see what the fuss is all about with Zombie Dust.
