The thing is, they are spreading to other resort properties around the USA and the world. The resorts should at least have to advertise the room prices with the fee instead of being able to leave it out.

We reserved a table at the beer park for the first night of the nfl draft and got cancelled because the dolphins rented out the entire place. Any other recs for a similar set up that we can see the bellagio fountains from?

dang that's actually pretty good. only issue is you could start seeing people use the table games as an ATM instead of the actual ATM's, even if they don't plan on playing, which would mess up the flow of everything

paid watch parties are for the 1/2nd rounds.

certain casinos allow you to pay to reserve a spot at a sportsbook, but you should be able to find some space at one of the books on the strip for free

First, what EMAW FC said. If you want something more stable, plus less hectic, the Sportsbooks at Aria, Bellagio, Mandalay Bay, park MGM and MGM Grand are very worthwhile...but will cost more...if you can even reserve a spot this late. But, I’m MGM -centric. There are probably other options equally as good. If you want to place bets at one place then go to another to view the games there are other options. For example, at Aria you can place bets at the Sportsbook and then go to the Aria Buffet or Herringbone for a private table to watch the games. Great food at both. Full bar service at both. Contact them directly for further information.

Is Tropicana serviceable? It’s half off on Hotwire today, only like $109 a night

Majordomo - incredible and didn't even order any big items, just a few bings (egg and trout roe one was surprisingly good) and a bunch of vegetable dishes. like tjsblue said shishitos were great, cauliflower was great, and the potato dish was probably the best.
Best Friend - if you go to vegas and don't hit their bar for happy hour and food you're doing it wrong. braised beef rice cake dish was the best.
Moon Palace- great slider burger, like a cunty chef version of white castle.
Momofuku - been to the one in NY so kind of knew what we were getting, was great, the fried chicken sandwich only served between 3-5 is worth the stop.
Hattie B's - hot sandwich was great
Secret Pizza - pizzas very average, but when drunk and hungry it works
Tacos El Gordo- way off the beaten path but worth the walk, the quesadilla was different and amazing. adobada easily the best option.
rooftop bar at Paris was a killer spot but god damn at the beer prices. still went to enjoy the weather.

So I’ll have to call all these places directly to see if they have tables available?

My group is just three guys. Looking for a place to lay a few bets and kick it. The only thing that’ll be real important to us is watching the FSU games.

Guessing with the small size of our group we will get priced out of most tables that weekend.

It’s an older property. But if they have recently remodeled, then it’s probably serviceable. The location isn’t bad: It’s a cheap cab ride from the airport. MGM Grand is across Tropicana. There you catch the long tram line if you don’t want to walk north up the strip. Across LVB is the Mandalay Bay-Caesar’s Palace lineup.

Yes. That’s because everything changes from year to year. Check the hotel websites before making calls. Some of them plan pretty well and might already have their MM arrangements advertised. Others are terrible planners and won’t have info up until a couple of days prior. Also, properties sometimes will convert a ballroom or concert room into a game watch venue.

I couldn't imagine staying anywhere but the center strip area (Linq is usually my base), but I really don't mind Tropicana. Interesting vibe, more laid back and cheaper than all its neighbors (minus Excalibur). Shake Shack across the street is nice. The artist formerly known as Hooters right next door at least used to have dirt cheap beer and tables.

Without looking it up, I bet you can get in Bally's or Linq for similar price, that's where I'd go. Just depends on what you want to do.

since you're 5 weeks away from your stay, $109 tropicana rate is probably the best you're gonna get. check smartervegas.com for discounted rates for each hotel property.

Yes Roy Choi place, dunno when it opened but it made a bunch of best new restaurant lists this year so can't be long ago. The LA carry over items were really good too, short rib tacos especially.
