Its pretty known that ou fans thought Jalen was average throughout the season. Kelso thinks hes a 1st rounder though
Jalen could be a not nearly as good version of Taysom Hill. Great dude and great college player but I don't see him having much of a pro career (as a QB).
Think he could be great in that role, if he was willing to do it... he seems like the kind of person that would be up for the challenge.
I would agree he seems like a guy that would be willing to try out some sort of combo role. If not he'll sink his career before it starts.
Jalen Hurts was like a more athletic Eric Crouch. Trofie has a pair of his pajamas he wears every night. The front is OU and the back is Bama themed.
I'll be the first to admit I thought the 2nd round was too high for Hurts but he talked about Hurts like he was absolute trash at Oklahoma
Thinking he’d a bust in the NFL is one thing- the odds are in your favor with that. But regularly blasting a guy with like 120+ career TDs and 12,000 yards who did nothing but win, is some insano shit
Well I never thought that but I did not think he'd ever start in a Super Bowl, there are plenty of talented college QBs that put up numbers and don't make it and I thought he was one of them, I was wrong
I don’t think you can fault anyone for thinking Jalen straight out of college wasnt gonna be worth a shit in nfl. the eagles organization has done an incredible job with Jalen. incredible is also an understatement
I would have never guessed Hurts would have been good. However, I've learned I don't know shit about how guys will pan out and to not post my hottakes and definitely not in a matter of fact manner.
I hate tf outta the eagles but they’ve done a fantastic job with this team. Obvious post is obvious I know.
I've learned over the years it's surprisingly easy to not post hot takes on the internet. That said, doing so is a lot more exciting.
What’s so funny about DD’s take is that Hurts was fantastic at Oklahoma. The take would be somewhat defensible if it came during his time at Alabama when he hadn’t developed as a passer. But, he was unreal at OU.
