Really just that it is amazing. In the 2 plus years I’ve been on peloton she seems to have toned up lost weight a lot but hasn’t lost any of her curves.
Well the boob job has helped the upper body. But definitely has kept everything else. Pretty ridiculous.
I heard she had gotten one. I haven’t ridden with her a lot but someone did a comparison across the years she has been there.
Jess is way too lean and muscular to have boobs that big naturally. Think Robin had the best core/body a year or two ago but has lost some of her muscle and is similar to Emma now.
Oh absolutely wasn’t looking for it but saw a big thread on reddit I think (not a shocker on that front). Anyways doesn’t take away from the fact she has a ridiculous body.
Anyone taken Robin’s 45-minute Tabata from 1/21? It’s the hardest class I’ve ever taken and the only class I’ve ever labeled a 10 on difficulty.
I have been taking the outdoor running classes the last few days. I am enjoying them thoroughly. The classes feel harder than the bike and I am quite sore afterwards. I did a 30 minute HIIT with Robyn last night on the bike and I immediately could tell I had more cardiovascular stamina. Peloton really is the best. I haven't been in this good of shape since probably freshman year of college. I'm not going to win any races etc but I do feel significantly better than I did a year ago when I got the bike.
I switched up my routine in 2020. Back to intermittent fasting and am now riding on a 12-14 hour fast. My numbers are shit, but it feels worth it.
I don't ride as much as you guys, but I'll have to try that class. FYI I've kept our December streak going. Done at least one peloton class each day since 11/29. The ongoing streak makes it to where I have to do one or more everyday no matter what. Really helps overcome long work days and hungover weekends.
I was sick as fuck for almost 3 weeks. Like I’d rather be dead sick. Finally getting better and rode a couple days ago and it killed my taint.
Did Robin's most recent 20 minute Tabata ride. I've noticed that these classes kick my ass but my output numbers aren't as good as a traditional HITT class etc. Output isn't everything, just an interesting observation. Goal: Ride a 20 minute ride every day this week. Next week, get back into my 20/30/45/break/20/30/45 schedule.
Agreed. In other rides I don't rest as much. Still push a decent pace through recovery. In tabata if you do it right you have to take the breaks. I also don't ride heavy during warmups period for tabata rides either. I did a few 20 min. Tabatas and came up about 20kj short of my pr each time. Then I did an Emma listening party ride and beat my pr by 7.
Well Peloton put one competitor out of business (guess should be almost as they will still have studios but those have been shutting down like crazy too). Flywheel shutting down their at home service and anyone with a Flywheel will be offered a bike swap for a Peloton. Seems like a great offer.
My Bowflex C6 was finally delivered yesterday. I did a beginner class with Hannah Frankson last night. Kicked my ass. Got a long way to go.
how is the bike how does it compare to the Peloton? How do you follow with the cadence, distance and resistance? Welcome and join the Strava group for extra motivation. It’s TMB on Strava.
Cadence, resistance, distance, and heart rate are shown on the bikes control panel. If you have an IPhone or an IPad the bike can connect to the app via Bluetooth and keep track of the metrics. I have an Android device and that function isn't available yet. As far as comparing it to the Peloton bike I can't comment. Never actually been on a Peloton.
Curious how closely this matches. I know all Peloton bikes, let alone those made by other manufacturers, will vary, but are they even set up the same? Like if Robin says add two to resistance, is your two the equivalent?
Seems like the music shit has finally been settled. I can’t find what it means going forward. Hopefully we get some of the classes that have been deleted back and we get better music going forward. I didn’t think it had but I do think it has impacted my overall experience.
its just listed in their challenges. 7 straight days of activity starting this past Monday. they just launched it last week as a new random "flash" challenge concept. This is the first time I've seen it.
I don’t have a peleton but for the last 3months have been doing spin at my gym go 4 times a week and twice on tuesdays so 5 times total, 1 hr classes my question is about the shoes, is it worth getting the clip in ones? What brand?
