I guess I'll have to subscribe to All Access for two months. At least I can catch up on Discovery now too.
The backgrounds during the tea scene are terrible and obviously green screen It was kind of a jolt because I thought the effects were actually awesome before this
I'm watching it tonight. A lot of the dialogue has been terrible imo. "Who knew Romulans could be so hot?" made me want to turn the episode off When Picard talls about his old crew though
This has been a fun series so far. But subscribing for this has allowed me to start watching Discovery and wow, I have been missing out on that series.
There is something missing from this. I will still watch obviously, but it's just been okay imo Disco has a lot of idiotic moments, especially in season 1, but I ended up really enjoying it. Also Tilly sucks. You're just going to have to deal with her because she isn't going away.
I think I stopped about halfway through episode 3. I'll finish when the season is over. It's not rational at all but that lady calling Picard "JL" really bothered me
You can watch 'Star Trek: Picard' for free right now thanks to Patrick Stewart Our #StarTrekPicard season finale is Thursday, and starting today until 4/23, you can watch for free on @CBSAllAccess in the US with the code: GIFT. https://t.co/i2IfFQN3I8It's felt good to bring Picard back. I can't wait to reunite with our cast and crew for Season 2. pic.twitter.com/lSmtMxgrN8March 24, 2020 "Star Trek: Picard" is warping toward an epic season one finale on Thursday (March 26) and if you're in the U.S. and not watching yet, series star Sir Patrick Stewart wants you to "make it so." On Twitter today, Stewart announced that Trek fans in the United States can now watch "Star Trek: Picard" for free on CBS All Access using the code "GIFT." The code is valid through April 23, so you'll have to act soon to binge the series. In "Star Trek: Picard," we follow Stewart as the iconic (now-retired) Jean-Luc Picard as he investigates a web of intrigue involving synthetic lifeforms, the Borg, Romulans and a Federation that's not exactly what it was in "The Next Generation." CBS All Access has already green-lit the series for a second season. The streaming service is also home to a prequel series called "Star Trek: Discovery," and the upcoming "Section 31" spin-off show. "It's felt good to bring Picard back," Stewart wrote on Twitter (you can follow him @SirPatStew). "I can't wait to reunite with our cast and crew for Season 2."
I liked the last episode. It is really easy to mess up this kinda show ( see Disney's Star Wars Skywalker movies ), but they mostly stuck the landing.
Pretty disappointed in the season as a whole but giving us a proper and satisfying send off for Data (fuck Nemesis) was worth it. Easily my fave Trek character. Wish they would've brought Data back full time although I know Spiner has said he doesn't want to continue and only came back for Picard for the fans.
Not Picard related, but lower decks is really enjoyable if you have watched a ton of trek. Just a really fun show
I have no idea how to feel about this trailer... With said I think Strange New Worlds has a ton of potential based solely on the job Anson Mount did as Pike. I need CBS to do better because so far their best show by a mile is Lower Decks and the rest of this stuff isn't even worth the retwatch
Yeah, not sure about the trailer, but good to see Spoiler Q back. Hopefully he's still written the same. oh, and Joe_Pesci
The Raffi-Rios-Agnes triumvirate of shit is going to be hard to overcome, especially since they’re going to ruin a Q trial by throwing them into present day.
Very cool to actually see the Enterprise F in that trailer. At least I think that's the F. It's an Odyssey class, so either we're being trolled or that's the ship
S3:E1 out today. Will watch this dumb show, but don’t have any confidence in the show runners to give Picard/Stewart the send off he deserves (making assumptions based on this being the last season).
I honestly don't care about the rest of these shows except for strange new worlds and lower decks anymore.
