The story I was told was the partnership with 810 and them wanting to force Bukaty in there. Callum’s contract ran out and he wanted to extend but they just turned their back. Following his Twitter he still visits town all the time. He went to a KU game not long back.

Shoulda tried to work the three stripes into the state line concept like the 2nd round of SKC jerseys. I think they did as good as they could, but I kinda wish they'd stick with one look going forward. I prefer argyle, but ok with hoops or the state line thing too
An interview with the lead designer a year or two back he said they were strongly suggested to move away from argyle because light blue and argyle is “North Carolina’s thing” aka it was different than the cookie cutter designs adidas wants to shove down everyone’s throat.
Disappointing that they add BRGR, Taco Republic, Port Fonda, Parisi but they could find a local BBQ place to partner with.
I know the chiefs and royals are Aramark which throws a wrench into things, but based on them also not having a local place, i'm guessing that it's harder to find a BBQ partner than we realized The places worth a shit (Q39 and Joe's) probably don't want to risk diluting brand or quality by putting in a quick serve stadium place. The places that are willing to do so (Gates, Bryant's) suck and the venues don't want them. My theory anyway.
Figured the same on Q39/Joes, the choice would be Jack Stack with their catering center down in Martin City imo. They’re probably the only ones that could easily make enough for ~2-3K every game and not strain themselves.
