I've only been back on keto for about a week and a half. I did it for several months before, and we did not yet have a Blaze near me. We have a new one that just opened and you can't get near it, so no.
Pepperoni and mushroom is my wife's go-to pizza. I've made portobello pizzas twice. I've got to, respectfully, disagree with you. The whole, DOUGH/CRUST thing inhibits your use of the word 'exactly.' I don't think it is bad, but it goes back to my original point: It isn't pizza. It is a pizza-flavored mushroom.
I edited my post, because I re-read it and I sounded like a dick. I read through my last five posts and realized I sounded like a dick there, too. Apologies. I didn't want to sound like a dick. I still fucking hate keto pizza. I made these crackers though, and I offer them to get things back on track. https://www.eatingbirdfood.com/3-ingredient-homemade-almond-crackers/
He’s not wrong. I use sausage to stuff the mushrooms instead of peoperoni and the taste is like a pizza.
Has anyone tried making bagels? Wanting to do so and get some if the Trader Joes “Everything but the bagel” seasoning for them
Great bagel shop. But the guy doesn’t make keto bagels. I’ve found keto donuts around here, but not keto bagels. And yes I got your sarcasm
If you find a local shop with cauliflower pizza make sure you ask about the sauce. Most places make them to get rid of the gluten but by default their sauces have sugar in them.
"Stuck" with Einstein and Panera? Wait, you mean if you only have chain options, that isn't as good as a local option? Don't be a HARDOOOOOOOOOO.
No weirdo, just that those two aren’t good. Even the bagel chain that claims to fly in water from New York is better than those.
Down 17 pounds since Jan 1st, 2020. Doing intermittent fasting 16/8 and keto. Ran 8.5 miles yesterday and wasn't even that sore today.
A pizza place in omaha debuted a keto pizza. It's not huge but its like 7 carbs per pizza and its amazing..
Magic spoon has a cereal that’s supposed to be legit . But, $40 for a case of 4 boxes keeps me from trying it.
Speaking of which I need more slim fast fat bomb peanut butter cups for an outrageously priced candy substitute.
PBFBs are super easy to make. Melt some PB, coconut oil, and cream cheese in the microwave, mix it good, put it in a pan and sprinkle some salt on top, put it in the freezer to harden.
What are your Super Bowl menus going to look like? I’m pondering if I do a full keto menu for our group or just splurge for a day
brisket, chicken lollipops, buffalo dip, cobb salad still kicking around a few other ideas but that’ll work for me
Sorry can't read 106 pages but I have a few questions. Well mainly one. Is there an online keto friendly only store? As in everything on the site is keto friendly? Looking for BBQ rubs and condiments and stuff like that without having to read every label.
Look into Thrive Market. I know they have Whole30 and Paleo stuff in an easy to navigate way. I’m sure they have keto stuff too.
Keto friendly can be a deceptive name. I’ve seen a few things with that on the packaging, but the actual macros were not something that would fit into my personal diet plan.
Made these tonight: They’re good to pretty good. The problem is only being able to make one at a time. At 2-3 min each, 16 of them took close to 45 min.
Most rubs will be safe unless they list sugar or brown sugar as one of the top ingredients. Sauces tend to be more problematic and contain a surprising amount of added sugar.
Like 98% of bbq rubs for pork/chicken use sugar and brown sugar as a base. Going to have to figure something out. Beef is fine bc it's just salt and pepper.
