Those aren’t cask strength, so I think they’re like $40 each.

Anyone have access to the Larceny barrel proof? Feel really intrigued to try that, since I've resigned myself to not finding anything else I want lol.

 

I can look around locally here. I know one store got two yesterday and they were immediately gone. I'm sure other people probably have a lot more around them but I'll look just for you .

It’s supposed to hit Georgia first week of February. Not to say I’m going to find an abundance of them, but more to point out that it hasn’t hit all states yet.

I’m not expecting a ton of demand for it because after all, it’s Larceny, but with this bourbon craze who the fuck knows...

 

What are most people expecting to pay for Weller 12 these days? Most places around here are only getting 1-2 bottles at a time

Its been every store ive seen it unfortunately 3 different ones. Not sure if its because Athens is a college town, but bourbon is pricey here.

 

The 750’s retail I believe for $90 at the distillery so assume $45 on 375’s I’d buy everyone they had for that price, they’re not cask strength but they’re still good.

 

Think I paid $60 + had to buy a 1792 Full Proof Store Pick at $40

I also lined up at 5am for it.

 

I had the Madeira and been on the lookout for a bottle ever since. I’ll attempt to clean them out of what’s left. The guy said they were part of a gift set that they opened up and at ~$60 for the 3, it can’t be beat.

 

one place told me bottle of 1792 gave you the opportunity to buy it at $129. Looked at him like he was crazy

 

A coworker just asked a bourbon question that kind of stumped me. He asked what’s a barrel proof bourbon with a similar taste profile to the recent batches of Stagg Jr?

There’s nothing else from BT at barrel strength and with that mash bill that he could easily find, and while Barrell, Knob Creek, ECBP, Belle meade Cask and Knob Creek SiB are good, I don’t know that any of them actually taste similar to stagg. Any recommendations?

 

MSRP is $50 so somewhere close to that plus shipping costs.

Can’t find it. It hits our city and is usually gone within a few days and his current bottle is running out.

 

It just hit Athens this week, I saw it in 2-3 locations yesterday and today. Batch 10 and 13

 

maybe a high proof Bookers or EHTBP (which is harder to find yet)

 

How much are they on the shelves there? Can’t find them anywhere here. One of the options in the vault was a bottle for $119
