Between this and Aschoff, it's been a bad month. Had a chance to briefly meet both, incidentally in the same year (2009).
Asked restaurant host: "God, did you hear about Kobe Bryant?" Host: "No." Me: "Died. Helicopter Crash." Thought he would cry.
Definitely would not appreciate be on the joking end of that. However, I think that maneuver of turning the engine off is something all pilots need to learn how to do in order to get their license. I used to listen to Bill Burrs podcast and he talked about practicing it
Honestly I think any major news outlet would have reported that IF they had it confirmed (still fuck TMZ though), but my question is who the hell are the people who tip TMZ off on this shit before the family even knows?
this has been my whole day. Damn! And it's a weird feeling here in LA went to Trader Joe's and the cashier found out from the guy in front of me, she could barely do her job checking me out. So sad
just hoping there was no suffering when the crash happened. the thought of being in that helicopter knowing it is going to crash is numbing. i’m really torn up about this.
Clippers won the tip and took a 24 second shot clock violation. Magic then took an 8 second back court violation.
do you want to tell the families of those who died that maybe it’s not true since the internet says they wouldn’t fit
I'm going to say something that I can't backup but.... They didn't know. I think the pilot fucked up and flew it into the hill.
Sorry, I didn't mean it that way. I saw that tweet and then that 9 people are assumed to be dead and thought too many passengers could have been an issue.
