Fantastic ending to the episode. Tommy is so well acted. two more episodes till the halfway mark? I guess the final season is 20 eps?
Wasn’t feeling that episode at all. I thought it was shot bad, didn’t like the script or that lame flash back. next Sunday is the official halfway point.
Yeah that episode wasn’t good at all... was all over the place. no follow up on Tommy crew getting arrested? Dre knee where sax lived? Tasha knew the exact location of the car? Ghost wouldn’t of let that body sit there that entire time. I think she did it.
I get that its the final season so lots of moving parts and deaths. But i'm with you, Dre finding Sax and breaking into a 5 star hotel to plant evidence. Tommy not getting word to his crew that he's got them. It was just a super lazy episode. And the Tasha snitching shit was beyond awful. That entire scene on top of Ghost putting hands on her just felt forced and terrible.
Now all the sudden everyone is corrupt, like damn is Saxe that influential? Bets on who took the shot at the end
The show runner said it wont be someone out of the loop. Its gonna be one of the people they showed walking to Truth. So Romona or Tosha's boy friend wont be the killer. It looks like the only person who could put Ghost behind bars is Dre. Given they have 5 eps to close the show I would assume its Dre who pulls the trigger. I thought the last EP was fantastic. I loved Ghost telling everyone to essentially suck his dick that he made it. I did not like the who done it to close the show.
They interviewed 50 Cent on the CNN NYE thing and he was saying there will be some spinoffs, that are already in production, from Power.
Haven’t seen the EP. will have to torrance it. But from the preview they did on Stars not looking forward to the 6 eps that’s essentially one EP from 6 different view points
Yeah I’m not watching now that ghost is dead. Didn’t even watch the episode where he was shot. He was the show and there was so much more they could do with him with the storyline
Apparently twitter was pissed so they managed to really fuck up the conclusion of this show for everyone! Some people are holding out hope that the news report is wrong and ghost isn't dead lol... I think we all know its gonna be Tosha who kills Ghost. She "created him" and now she will "destroy" him
55 minutes of garbage backstory to a minor sub character. No thanks. Power trying to top GoT for worst final season
So they gave away the killer in the Tommy episode. Figured they would do a spin off series with Tommy.
I hate to just shit on the end but seriously we go two full seasons of Tommy gunning for Ghost only for all that to stop in the span of 3 hours irl. That entire forced Lisa Marie shit and then not killing Tosha that will turn into the reason why Ghost is dead.
Someone mentioned Top Dog in here, or maybe it was somewhere else, and I watched the first 2 seasons and really enjoyed it. Even though it's hard to root for some of the main characters...
Didn’t even know they were going on a 2 week break, until I realized that the Super Bowl is next Sunday
Yeah I don’t know who recommended it but it was definitely someone in this thread that recommended Top Boy. The first two seasons were dece but that third season is amazing I never would have imagined Sully would be my favorite character the way the show started.
I held out hope that once the series finishes out I would be like... ok I don’t love it but I get it. Nope, having the most unlikeable character who was so misguided and misinformed come out on top with everything is lame as fuck. Having him kill his dad in the reprocess and not showing any remorse. I hated it. Happy Tosha ended up where she did. Looking forward to a Tommy spin off. Not really interested in a Tate or Tosha/Tariq one but would give it a shot.
He’s probably one of the most popular characters and starting a new future in California. Will be kinda cool to see him grow from the bottom to the top. We never got to see it in Power. I think a Tommy spin off makes total sense and would be popular.
In for Tommy, pass on Tariq in college. Looked like there's going to be 5 of them though. I didn't watch after show so maybe they went over them. I get killing off Ghost at the end of the series but it left the sequels without much to work with. Of course him becoming a politician was such a weird turn that idk what a Ghost sequel would have even been.
Been watching the show with the wife the past few weeks. Almost done. It has been an enjoyable ride but couldn’t care less who killed Ghost
Wait his son didn’t kill Ghost? I haven’t watched a single EP of this new series. Ive heard it’s jumped the shark so never started it
Not sure. We’re watching the finale now. I just meant that I don’t care because we’re only watching to get to the end. This whole “each episode is a different POV” is dumb
