It's like I've never been so ready for Dier to come on than in that moment. Then we concede from a loss of possession in the exact area he'd be.

Different game, same bullshit. This team is just as mediocre as our manager.

Sounds like it is imminent. Great signing. Could be our Adama or Mane. Tons of pace. Great passer in the final third. His coach said he is in London because he wanted to leave.

For all the bitching and moaning I see on other sites about this window and Levy, if we finish with Bergwijn, Piatek, and Gedson, that is a pretty exciting window. Granted we didn't address Left Back but it appears Mourinho prefers playing Aurier up higher and that is fine because he is doing much better there. I would love to find a CDM, but I really don't know who.

I still can’t believe what happened yesterday. Kobe you were truly one of the special ones, not only as a sportsman but as a person as well! I remember talking to you after your Jersey retirement and Oscar win. Both times you were more concerned about pushing me to the next level which shows the humble man you were!
You will be missed by everyone because you inspired so many. Thank you!
My heart goes out to all the families who have lost loved ones in this tragic accident.

If we could somehow get a DM and striker before the window closes, that would be amazing business by Levy. It would also be nice to get some young guys out and loan and cut dead weight (Wanyama) however possible.

I see on the other boards that we need to find an Eriksen replacement. It is as if they forgot that is what Gio was supposed to be. I think these dual announcements are a wink towards that. besides, we can't find an exact Eriksen replacement otherwise Eriksen wouldn't be as valuable as he is. We have to get it done differently, and he has also shown that without DM cover he really isn't all that anyway. More and more I see him as a Juan Mata type player especially as he gets older. His play the past year certainly didn't leave me regretting his loss.

In hindsight we would have been better off selling him before last season. He would’ve commanded a higher fee and we could probably have addressed the other holes in the squad.

That said, Levy being able to get something for him at this point is as good an outcome as we could’ve hoped for.

Sure that sounds better but would have led to different problems. Fans would have been screaming if that occurred and then we went into the tailspin that we did. Instead it showed he wasn't helping to solve the problem.

yes, it is mostly nonsense. Sounds like Giroud and one other midfielder. It is not Berge.

After catching up it sounds like no one really knows. Hercules always throws out vague statements and passes it on as itk.

I’m not buying the Giroud talk. Chelsea has no reason to sell him to us, seeing that they’re who we’re gunning for 4th place. My guess is we’re probably done.

I agree on Herc. He is a blowhard who likes to hear his name mentioned. As far as Giroud I do think this could be different because they want to get rid of him and he has no value to them on their roster. He hasn't performed in a couple of years.

Apparently Eze was at the training grounds yesterday working on a pre-contract transfer for Summer. Also Balotelli of all people has been offered to us, but that would be ridiculous if we said anything but thanks but no thanks. I really do think Giroud is the best option if Chelsea don't fleece us. At 6 Mil he is a worthy backup option for when we need a CF.

With Eriksen gone and Kane on the mend, DESK is now off the table. It is possible that we might see some BDSM in the near future though, Bergwijn/Dele/Son/Moura. Thoughts?

    thanks, reddit

what is with the thanks reddit in micro font?

In any case, you can make a real case for that being a very good lineup if Son can get back to his finishing ways. The speed and shiftiness is impressive in that lineup.

I think one thing that people are underestimating is how much Jose respects Dier. Hopefully he sees something that we haven't seen in two years and brings it out. Dier was really good before he broke down. In that lineup is the idea that Bergwijn and Son are both wide strikers and dele is an attacking midfielder? If so that makes a ton of sense to me and in videos that I watched breaking down Bergwijn's skillset this is exactly how he was used. They would require the two CB's to spread wide in defense and once either commits the other runs into the vacated space and gets the through-ball.
