Looking through gifs of bojack was an emotional rollercoaster. Such a fucking amazing show. Sad it’s ending, but in mostly just happy we had it.
I'm sad it's ending, but if they can just stick this dismount it's gonna be a perfect piece of art. So I'm happy from that standpoint
Was so busy during football season that this weirdly got put on the backburner. Ripped through most of the season last week and plan on binging the final episodes this weekend. Excited and scared.
So my wife and I were watching Bojack episodes last night in preparation of the final episodes and something hit us. As Diane and Mr PB are arguing about the surprise party it hit us that I’m Diane and my wife is Mr PB. We were dying the rest of the night about it. She threw me a small surprise party once and after it was over I told her “If you ever throw me another surprise party, I’m divorcing you” So as Diane was like “Why would I want a surprise party” I looked at my wife. Then he said “Is it the awesome part you object to?” and my wife said “Exactly!”
Finally onto season 6 of the rewatch. On episode 6 now then done for the night is tomorrow I’ll finish the first half and start on the last 8 episodes. I’m not ready
Pretty sure I'm going to restart the show tonight w/my gf. She's only seen a few minutes of it ever. Excited.
So...how crazy was this season's penultimate episode? And which season had the craziest "episode 11"?
Three episodes in and my biggest takeaway so far is how much I loved the early episodes and the amount of time BoJack and Todd spent together.
I thought there'd be more discussion when we got to the end of this show but I guess in the words of Todd: "Fuck man. What else is there to say."
how do people generally rate the seasons of this show? i've heard it's fantastic but i didn't like the pilot i watched last night, though i was admittedly in a horrible mood because of the election
It gets so much better really really quickly. First season is phenomenal and you’ll then go back and watch the pilot and realize it was really good as well. That said, if you’re in a depressed mood, probably not the right show. Wait until they call it for Biden and then go and watch the show at some point soon
I am interested to see how people rank the seasons though. In my head I’m having trouble splitting them apart. If anything it just seemed to get stronger and stronger as the story built
Started a rewatch going to sleep a few weeks ago and just got to the end is Season 3 where he and Sarah Lynn go on the bender. Jesus it got so dark there
Watched a couple on the tv and my wife caught a few minutes of the end of the penny episode on season 2 “if you ever come near my family again, I will FUCKING KILL YOU” her: holy shit. That got dark real fast!
Do you guys really think Bojack was about to do something with Penny in the boat in New Mexico? On the one hand, we see him say no multiple times and he doesn't look close to following through on her advances. On the other, "part of me knows that's a lie." I want to believe he was going to keep saying no until she finally took the hint and left.
I am rewatching S6 now. It sucks so bad when Pete-Repeat meets Hollyhock and tells him about Bojack being a creeper. Deservedly so. But makes you hurt for him. But yeah, unless some major colors changed, a college is a bad place for that dude to be. He'd be creeping on those acting students big time.
Yeah definitely. She had her hands on his bow tie to take it off, he was done saying no by that point
