I think Whedon definitely opened up Marvel’s eyes to the talent they have. Then the Russos ran a train on that talent
I also think they had to let them grow and have more control of their characters in order to keep everyone happy. Hemsworth has been really public about his displeasure with the character prior to Ragnarok, and I'm sure Evans was looking for more than just being the by the book, boring guy before WS.

At the end of CW cap breaks out everyone from the raft. Falcon and Wanda go with him. Why do Hawkeye and Ant man not go with him too? Do they just explain it away as they wanted to be with their family?
Yes, they both took a deal to be with their family. That’s why you see Scott under house arrest in AM&TW.
One of the lead writers is Derek Kolstad who wrote the John Wick movies which had some pretty good humor
I wish a couple more like mandalorian, but production value seems high and I imagine they’ll be dense (probably little to no filler)
They do look well produced, as Mandalorian was. But if they're only half hour shows 6 episodes isn't going to cut it.
