What a second half performance from the team but Mo in particular. Wish Takumi could have gotten one of these.
Now we cheer for City to win the next few games so we have a chance to clinch at Goodison and bury the Blues for a decade.
We could clinch before the quarterfinals of the champions league even start What do you even do at that point? Rest starters during EPL games to go for the double?
the team will 100% go for every record possible in the EPL. If we lose a game, I think you see TAA and Robertson get a game or two off and Hendo and Firmino get earlier subs ahead of potential UCL ties but that’s about it. If the kids beat Shrewsbury I’ll be interested to see how we line up against Chelsea in the FA cup. More thoughts on that after Tuesday.
We need 6 more wins, and our next 6 matches are against 5 of the bottom 7 teams on the table, plus a trip to Goodison Park. Our seventh game is @City, and if it hasn’t happened by the time we leave the Etihad, our next 2 matches are against the remaining 2 teams from the bottom 7 of the table.
While that’s 1 way, it’s 18 points either from LFC or dropped by City. My point was that it wasn’t going to take 6 matches
I knew what you meant. City could easily win out, but you're probably right. You'll be throwing everything you have at Real.
Of course. My point being that there aren’t many challenging matches (on paper) coming up for us while you’ve got a rough stretch.
Pretty good read here https://www.independent.co.uk/sport...ho-havertz-summer-melissa-reddy-a9314306.html
Joe Gomez >> Aymeric Laporte Aymeric Laporte= Matip Also, I just want to throw out there that both Pep and Klopp wanted Virgil Van Dijk. Both teams' second choice was Laporte. And Klopp convinced VVD that while he'd make less money at Liverpool than Man City he'd win more glory. At the time, such a suggestion sounded crazy even to me.
Are we completely without tv today? At work espn.com not showing it on ESPN+ And I know there was a big to do about losing tv money from the game.
