well Frank won't be able to say he wasn't allowed to mold the club in his image I guess getting pretty antsy in my pantsy for some acquisitions here, balls of steel in this front office
Can we be honest here, Tito was not good last season and doesn’t fit a possession based style of play. He’s never gonna be a major player under De Boer.
will get 750k in allocation money shit ton of money to spend on players, international slots to use, and few days left to do it.
Idk why they have to do that shit during the week. Would be much easier to go on the weekend and would probably get a better turnout.
Sad for Tito to go. Was the first South American player signed that really showed what the clubs direction was going to be. Wish his carrier worked out better. Thankful for the moments he had and I will never take his Bobblehead off my desk. Will Atlanta ever have a athlete with better hair...doubtful.
Roberson's live tweeting during our friendly with Philly, up 4-0 after I guess a half of play, two goals from Pity, one from Josef, and an own goal forced by Mulraney
Atlanta United transfers Tito Villalba to Club Libertad Atlanta United announced today it has transferred midfielder Tito Villalba to Club Libertad in Paraguay for an undisclosed transfer fee. “We want to thank Tito for his contribution and service to the club over the last three years,” Atlanta United Vice President and Technical Director Carlos Bocanegra said. “He did a lot for our club as our first Designated Player and we wish him nothing but the best of luck in his future.” Villalba, 25, signed with Atlanta United on July 22, 2016 as a Designated Player. Overall with the club, he made 96 appearances with 67 starts, scoring 21 goals with 24 assists. Villalba’s playing time with the club had diminished since his first MLS season in 2017, where he started all 34 matches and scored 13 goals with 11 assists. The following year, Villalba appeared in 28 games with 21 starts, helping Atlanta claim the 2018 MLS Cup, where he made five postseason appearances. During the 2019 MLS season, Villalba made 20 appearances, started 10 games and scored one goal. He appeared in two postseason matches. Prior to joining Atlanta, Villalba spent more than a decade with his hometown club San Lorenzo in Buenos Aires, Argentina, beginning in the youth academy at the age of 10. He was part of the squad that won the 2014 Copa Libertadores and by age 21 had made more than 100 first team appearances, scoring 16 goals with 13 assists. Transaction: Atlanta United transfers Tito Villalba to Club Libertad for an undisclosed transfer fee on Jan. 31, 2020.

alright alright I'm assuming this takes us out of the Villasanti running, still holding out hope for Arzamendia though El_Pato what can you tell us about Rossetto?
Crazy that CCL starts in two weeks, we’re already in training camp and playing exhibitions and don’t even have a full roster
yeah but I'd rather they take their time finding the right deals/guys than filling with the convenient, I'm guessing this is something we'll just have to get used to
It's tough for sure, but I also think people are overreacting to this due to how shaky we looked early on last year where literally everyone was learning a new system and we had to replace the engine of the team. The growing pains won't bad nearly as bad imo this time around.
Agreed. Also the match with Motagua will at least be at the National Stadium (Last I read). Will be better than the Green Concrete that they had to play on at Herediano.
apparently all of the tam we received from the Nagbe trade is being converted to gam, which I'm told is a good thing, never began to even try and understand that stuff
Up 1-0 at the half, struck late on a counter Hyndman -> Pity -> Barco Think the movement looks pretty solid, lot of quick anticipatory passes
