unc has been atrocious for large swathes of the year but i do think we look like a decent acc team the last 3 games. even the vt loss with two starters out, the offense looked functional. cole should be back saturday. hole is probably a tad too deep by now but get him back and keep improving and at least it won't be a chore to watch
I really hope UVA makes the tournament just so we can absolutely fucking ruin someone's amazing season. All we have left to play for at this point.

I was just thinking about this. I think if we lost every game we had left we'd be 14-16, but winning an ACC title would give us a winning record. I think if you had a losing record overall and had a conference title run, I could see it happening. Still probably enough for a 15 though.
I think you would have to significantly worse than that. Just looking at Kenpom and that '16 BC team that went 0-18 was still rated above 2 of the 16s.

For a point of comparison, Georgia in 2008 was 13-16 (4-12) during the season before running off four consecutive wins to win the conference tournament. Only wins over tourney teams were Arkansas twice (9 seed, home and neutral), Kentucky (11 seed, neutral), and Mississippi St. (8 seed, neutral), plus had some bad non-conference losses to ETSU and Tulane. They got a 14 seed.
