I wish Serj Tankian had tried to do metal projects, because I love his voice I bought this album the day it was released
Just sold my Chemlab limited edition CD for $150.00. Was never into the band, they're not really metal but still heavier than anything joe listens to. Found it in the used section back in the mid 90's for $2.99 (Wherehouse Music in Clackamas, still has their stupid yellow price tag on it). It took me 5 or 6 years to realize it was a limited edition autographed version. Took me 25 years to realize the autographed foldout booklet is a photo one of the band members shooting heroin into his dick.
Martin Lopez (Opeth bassist) solo death metal project. It's not mindblowing but there is some promise
also i saw AMG reviewed this the other day and i liked it. also the art is tight. done by the same guy as that Bell Witch album cover
Looked up "abigail williams tour" because this album is tight They are on a tour with Borknagar() and headliner Rotting Christ sold out How did I miss this album? Did someone post it in here and I just ignored it?
I doubt anyone posted it, they were ridiculed after their first release. I don't know if anything has changed music wise.
Even though there's been about 25 years since their last release, P Waltz will never not be a blind buy for me. What they last sounded like in 1996 (each release from the bands conception in 1986 sounds different, first full length was 1990)
That tour lineup is phenomenal. Rotting Christ is one of my favorite bands of all time. Can’t believe the US gets that tour, and Mayhem/Abbath/Gatecreeper in the same season.
Youtube's recommending to me some song by a band called Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs I kind of like the cut of their jib, should probably resurrect Beavis and Butthead for this video
Grammys constantly do that in the metal category. Nominate folks decades after they’ve done anything noteworthy and Tenacious D.
I'm guessing Tool will win both the metal category and the song one that they are nominated for. I thought this album was basically the epitome of mediocre but at least the winner would be a good band
discovered these guys today. German death metal, for fans of Chapel Of Disease, Sulphur Aeon, Slugdge, old Kataklysm. Deserted Fear - The Final Chapter Deserted Fear - The Carnage
I'm afraid you found them on their decline. I tried to tell you guys to listen to anything FDA releases. Century Media signed them and the quality went down. Not necessarily CM's fault, but it just seems to work that way.
I should add that Skeletal Remains didn't suck after leaving FDA for Century Media, but hard to suck when you're just copying a legendary band. Other F.D.A. stuff worth investigating: Evoke, Weak Aside, Obscure Infinity, Decapitated Christ, Wound, Slaughterday, Keitzer, Requiem, Endseeker, Rude, Funeral Whore, Revolting, Demon Incarnate, Fatalist, Discreation, Dehuman Reign, Lifeless, Deus, Otiosus, Invictus, Eroded, Nerlich, Revel In Flesh
AMG's best and worst sounding albums of the year https://www.angrymetalguy.com/brick...0XnZCqy8o7wyWu68jl1rs99ynVfEezkfS_YY1wCsxnoSw and #1 is Baroness
Intronaut has a new album coming out on February 28th. They've released 2 songs so far, and they both rule.
Even the non-metal bands are appealing. I'm a big fan of Warpaint. Last year they had Beach House, which is also good.
