No, they have puts available all the way down to $100 in August. if it’s at $500 you pocket the difference between $850 and $500 so $350 x 100 = $35k
I'm doing something wrong. This is what I see. Am I looking in the wrong place? https://www.nasdaq.com/market-activity/stocks/tsla/option-chain
Going off the screenshot I posted, explain what I'm looking at. Ask if $144, so it would cost $14k to buy 100 options at $810. I would need it to be what to break even? $666 ($810 - $144)?
At least with Fidelity, I can set a trailing stop limit. Say Tesla's at $900. I can set my limit at $800. Tesla moves up to $950, it automatically sets my new limit to $850. You can do the same thing based on a percentage vs a $ value.
If we ever got anything new information about it that would be cool. Hasn’t been much to discuss, I think though they should begin production soonish?
Wait a few months at least. The bubble won't pop until people realize that Toyota will figure out how to make an electric car
Also selling my puts at the open yesterday and rolling into calls is the best trade I’ve ever made by a factor of 10
Saudi Arabia fund dumped nearly all of its Tesla shares in the fourth quarter, filing shows cnbc.com/2020/0...
oops! they are the dumbest of the dumb money. would love to know how much they've gotten pounded on their softbank investment
haah yeah was talking to one of my friends about this yesterday and was like well they'll never get in because they're not going to have a full year where they are profitable.
this is one of those things people unironically say that feels like it'll be used in an adam mcckay movie about the great recession of 2022
i get showing losses if you are legit starting out and growing. tesla has been around for 15 years. they are a cash inferno
Sell it I still kick myself for not cashing out all my Bitcoin when I was up over 100% (I gambled it all away like a month later)
Waiting for the announcement that there was some computer glitch causing this, or someone smarter than everyone here figured out a way to manipulate this insanely, and the stock crashes back to about $10.
people asking how to buy call options so they dont miss out makes me think this is going to last a few more days. reminds me sooo much of crypto
