I think I'm most excited for WandaVision because I think it's gonna be weird as fuck, and I'm here for that.
Everyone is guessing big names like Galactus, but knowing Gunn it'll be some super obscure character like Matchstick Man or something.
Pretty obvious to be setting him up as Adam Warlock at this point, based upon all the hints through the first two firms. Which means I completely expect him to be some totally obscure intergalactic Marvel villain
Guys, I'm just not sure Spider-Man 3 was any good. The CGI is Spy Kids-tier. The volume is just low enough that I am spared the dialogue.
twasn't. Harry Osborne was boring Sandman was an obvious and needless retcon to Ben's death Venom was superfluous Emo Parker was dumb
There’s a god serial killer that present day Thor is hunting and you watch it all unfold over the past, present and future. The art and storyline are fucking great.
I don’t hold Spider-Man 3 against him much. There was a lot of studio driven things going on behind the scenes with that movie. I believe he might have said since he didn’t even want to do it after all the requirements they put on him.
Avi Arad forced Venom to be in the movie (Raimi doesn't like the character), which led to emo Peter. Raimi just wanted to focus solely on Sandman and Goblin Jr. as the villains. This man made a comic book movie masterpiece (Spider-Man 2) with Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst as the leads for crying out loud.
Now put Jameson in it since it’s in NYC and fuck it include Willem Defoe get some of the gang back together
It’s pretty accepted I think that Raimi fucked Spider-Man 3 up on purpose because of the stuff they forced on him. And honestly it takes immense talent to make something that wretched. It took me YEARS to get over how bad that movie was.
Spider-Man 3 was a good life lesson in disappointment seeing that movie got me in touch with how my dad feels
i kinda want a new Stan Lee where someone makes a cameo in every film not sure if Bruce fits as he obviously isn’t The Godfather of comics and doesn’t quite have the innocent “aw shucks” old man energy that Stan does but he’d be great at it
Oh and buried in the Variety story... “Rachel McAdams, however, will not reprise her role as Strange’s colleague Christine Palmer.”
