I have a difficult time believing this, because the teams most likely to value him the most are the teams most likely to be picking furthest away from the lottery. I'd like to believe this front office knows that.
Rose is worth that. He's cheap, signed for another year and could easily be the piece to put one of those teams over the top. But obviously that type of team won't have that kind of pick. Would guess they're just trying to say what they think his value is publicly, so teams stop sending 2nd rounders as trade offers.

Says... - we know we're not getting what we hoped for Drummond, but there are still talks going on that could lead to some kind of deal. - teams around the league are wondering if we might move Wood (because he's a UFA this summer) and he thinks it's possible - teams asking about Svi, but he'd be surprised and wouldn't trade him - even mentioned Snell as a name OKC could target as a wing, which would save use $12M off next year's cap
Forgot to add that he said we'll be able to trade Morris for a 2nd rounder. I wouldn't be mad if we kept Morris, though, because his option for next year is really low and he'd be worth keeping around given Blake's issues.
They're without Blake, Rose, Kennard, Svi and Morris. These kinds of nights are going to happen under those circumstances.
Seems like this could be pretty far along if Woj is already throwing out stuff this specific. I don't really know what to do if this happens. This draft blows, but Kennard is one year away from RFA and I'm not sure how much I'd want to pay for his skill set and his knees.
Carter is basically Bruce Brown with less upside. They'd only take from each others development. Not against trading Luke but that return doesn't make much sense
There had been reports of several teams being interested in Kennard over the last month or two, and suddenly last night Woj drops some pretty specific stuff on convos we've had with Phoenix. Kind of wonder if we leaked that because we want something more from someone else.
Luke is fine. If we get another first and the best we can do with it get another Luke type player, so be it. He will be cheap for a few years and maybe not so injury prone. I’m fine with that gamble.
The health thing is the only reason I'm okay with the idea at this point, I think. Seems like there has to be something where they don't want to pay him long term due to health for them to do this.
