they have to use 8 minimum now. And in 4 years they have to use 16. All playoffs and CCL is charter. it’s progress.
But can a team use them for every match? It states a minimum when in the past it always stated a max.
You guys know I’ve got some of the best e-lawyers in the game on retainer and I will unleashed them on the CBA, I will understand this dumb deal.
How long before RBNJ tries to trade a charter flight for some GarberBucks which they then won't spend?
This week RSL signed Jeizon Ramirez, an 18 year old attacking mid from Venezuela. He is better than Savarino at that age, but he’s probably a couple of years away from being a force in MLS. I think they need to sign a DP attacking mid ASAP if they intend to be relevant this season.
I haven't kept up with this at all but what had been the problem? Did the city offer to give land to Nashville FC that the city didn't own or something?
Mayor decided he didn’t like the deal and has stopped it. this is not great for pitch quality I’d assume
Wait, what? Wasn't the Mayor involved in the deal in the first place? Did the Mayor convince the Save the Fairgrounds group to sue and slow things down?
The new Mayor is delaying the project, because he has been talking to a company to build a new NASCAR speedway on part of the property where Nashville SC wants to build shops/restaurants, which would also result in Nashville taxpayer money going towards the speedway. Mayor is getting called out on it, and all of a sudden he says progress is being made on the stadium deal.
Nashville has to break ground on their own stadium or they lose their MLS franchise, NYCFC and Atlanta are cool tho
The difference is NYCFC and Atlanta keep all the game day revenue at their stadiums since their owners own the stadiums. Nashville won’t at Nissan Stadium. And why would Atlanta need a stadium to begin with?
Yankees own 20% of NYCFC, so that's clearly all game day revenue. Garber mandated soccer specific stadiums prior to ATL and NYCFC, but let peewee soccer pitch and fieldturf go because $$$$
http://www.espnfc.com/major-league-...ng-kcs-polka-dots-to-chicagos-standalone-look When did DirtBall get hired by ESPN?
I do think it’s funny they have Vancouver as #4 when that exact jersey is Sporting’s hoops jersey from 5 years ago. Exact same color scheme and design just “wavier”. Imitation, flattery, etc.
Well... I invite you to Google the former Mayor, Megan Barry, who was pro-soccer. Frankly, it’s a movie that I would watch.
I’m pretty sure Tutul is a marketing exec. Phrasing it like this sounds so much better than their embarrassing tweet:
went to youtube and I'm greeted with the latest MLS podcast titled "Neymar Jr makes deal with Beckham to sign with Miami?"
