You could also go a la carte w/ the pork/chicken. Do some s&p, chili/red/cayenne pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and maybe some onion powder.
dblplay1212 Just checked my jar of killer hogs hot, it's only 1g of carb per serving It became my favorite all around rub recently (before starting this keto thing)
I’ve been doing a half-marinade half-rub with chicken lately. I put the chicken in a big ziplock, add a bunch of s&p, paprika, garlic powder, turmeric, and a bit of chili or cayenne powder, then squirt a dash of olive oil and soy sauce in there. Then I shake it up and leave in the fridge a couple hrs before cooking. Not as much liquid or as long a sit as a true marinade, and not quite a true rub, but it tastes pretty good when it comes off the grill or cast iron.
Hmm I actually like that one a lot. Yardbird is probably my favorite. I just assumed they were all out bc of the sugar.
I enjoy both as well. When I have this the first spin I went to the restaurant store and loaded up on the big cayenne, onion, garlic, paprika, etc.... it can be a bit of a pain but once I found how I liked my rubs just made mass quantities and threw it in an old rub container. Hardest part is just figuring out your combos as it relates to salt and heat.
Tried it yesterday, texture pretty legit, obviously can't fuck with real pizza, clearly best keto option I have tried.
Hi. Fiance is in a weight loss competition at work and wants to go the Keto route. Think I'll join her. Sucks, cause I love mashed potatoes and pastas. RIP
Why does every cold and cough medicine or drop have like a bazillion grams of sugar? This is stupid. It still tastes bad.
I can’t take vitamins unless it’s with a big meal or if they are gummy vitamins so I essentially can’t take vitamins when on keto.
I couldn’t sleep last night and ended up eating like 3 handfuls of flavor blasted goldfish. Felt like a failure this morning.
mashed cauliflower w/ cheese > mashed potatoes and i don't care who sees me say that take 1 head of cauliflower and place in a pot with 1-2 cups of chicken stock. cover and bring to a boil. once the cauliflower is easily mashable take it off heat and start mashing that bitch up. bust out your immersion blender and take about 15 seconds to just blend it up a little bit. add a splash of milk if you need more liquid add a tablespoon of butter, a handful of shredded cheese, salt/pepper/garlic powder to taste mix all that shit together so the cheese and butter melt into the cauliflower then eat that shit and never fuck with mashed potatoes again
Really good, I would have never known the difference The almond flour browned up faster than regular flour so you gotta make sure and check your meat temps
Umm Egg + splash of milk Dip chicken in egg + milk Dip chicken in almond flour Put chicken in hot oil in pan until internal meat temp is 170

I know you all have tried quest bars, but putting them in the microwave for about 30 seconds (until they stop swelling) is delightful.
Lost my ketosis from 2 slices of pizza on Wednesday and a couple tacos Thursday. I’ve had 6 slices of bacon and a brat so far today. A wave of keto shits just hit me. Gotta love it.
Swerve chocolate cake mix. Cream cheese frosting with serve. Lily's chocolate chips and dusting of cocoa powder. Cut into 12 pieces is somewhere around 4 net carbs per slice.
These are pretty good. https://www.costcobusinessdelivery....ack-stick,-3-oz,-12-ct.product.100350992.html
Something isn’t adding up there, sugar is one of the top listed ingredients but the nutritional label says zero carbs.
The majority of bacons/processed sandwich meats will have minor amounts of sugar in them from the curing/processing.
You mean your ALDI doesn't have them? ALDI is a store chain if you didn't know that. It's an exclusive so you won't find it anywhere else. I kind of wonder if they are playing some label games with that bread though. The label assumes their modified wheat starch is all non-digestable, but I'm not sure how that was determined. There are probably some hidden carbs. If you're tracking closely take that into consideration. I'm well passed tracking anything so I don't really worry about it too much and don't over indulge. It's good though. Good enough to make a sandwich without toasting it, which I can't say for any other low/no carb "bread" I've tried. Some of them are just awful or not worth the price.
