If Vince is going to sell the PPVs to another service I think that's insane. They think... someone is going to pay 9.99 for the Network without PPVs and someone is going to pay ESPN+ or Peacock Network 4.99 a month for no WWE content outside of PPVs and someone is going to pay 24.99 to 59.99 for just PPVs each month What in the fuck is that? What happened to tier system? Free = Docs, original programs like Ride Along and maybe the old WWE/WCW shows/PPVs 4.99 = All of above + NXT UK and NXT non USA stuff, Evolve and the PPVs that go with that 9.99 = All of that plus NXT USA, all non major 4 WWE PPVs then charge 24.99 for the big 4 if you have a paid sub or 59.99 if you have a free sub. Seems way better way of doing business for WWE vs selling its PPVs off. Its gonna kill the network.
Honestly, the network died when NXT went to TV. That was the only reason to log in weekly. Everything else on there including the PPVs does not drive a consistent user base
they never went as far as they had to with original programming. I know they're creating 6+ hours of programming every week already, but they needed a staff completely separated from that creating content constantly. they could have given the wrestlers control and let them run with it. that's the kind of stuff people would tune into see. a 30 minute Table for 3 every couple months isn't going to cut it.
Yep, if they were to give someone like Bray or Hardy or New Day a camera dude, sound dude, and producer and just tell them have fun; instant content
They currently have 1.4m subscribers giving them 120.00 a year. That's 160m a year its not a dead source of revenue. If ESPN+ is going to give them 200m a year to be the home of WWE PPVs you do it. I guess they have given up on the Network ever growing past 1.4-1.6m subs Going back to the old school format but still telling traditional PPV to fuck off is such a Vince thing. I'm curious what other content a ESPN+ would want. Maybe they want everything PPV related from NXT to WWE b shows like Elimination Chamber. Maybe they host those for the 4.99 sub at no additional charge and then ESPN+ charges 59.99 for Rumble, Mania, SummerSlam and Survivor Series.
Thought Takeover was tonight. Just fired up the network and no Take Over. Fml I know am forced to do some work at home
Makes sense... WWE seems to open a lot of buildings. Have yet to make a Mania but if they held it in Vegas it would be a must
What in the fuck of all fucks was that Shayna segment? She bit the back of Beckys neck and bit in to a 50 cent blood capsule from the Halloween section of the dollar store. Just an absolutely hilarious segment in the worst way.
So Becky just stole an ambulance because......and do do what.....? What was the point of that whole segment? Jesus Raw is awful.
RAW has been pretty good the last few weeks Goodbye Matt. I don’t think you can even save the Dark Order. But will tune in to see you try.
If your going to take the ambulance you gotta have Becky do something crazy with it. Not just drive it back. If she’s just driving it back don’t do it.
Yeah, just none of that made any sense what so ever. It was just steal an ambulance because that is something we would have done in the attitude era. It doesn't matter if it makes any sense.
Should’ve gone all the way. Becky returns to the arena and spots Shayna. Steps on the gas and runs her over. Becky steps out the drivers seat and picks up Shayna tosses her in the back of the ambulance and drives off to the hospital. Following week we see Shayna in the hospital recovering where Nikki Cross comes to visit her. Brings balloons, cake and a clown. When the nurse comes in and attacks Shayna that happens to be Becky. All in. All in.
Been meaning to check it out for the past week or two. I barely follow the product but love those guys. Been pretty excited about Battle of the Brands starting back up on UUDD and like the new things they're doing this season.
were you simulating throwing a flag at the horns down, they actually got you in the closeup there also I'm having more fun fsugrad watching than from following the show
