Anyone else here consistently hit draws with their irons and hybrids but struggle to hit anything other than a cut with 3 wood and driver? What is my deal, other than I suck at golf?
A big struggle for me, especially with the longer clubs, is getting too long in the backswing when I want to go after it and it throws me out of sync. Generally my lower body gets ahead of my arms and then I’m trying to save it with my arms and I’ll get the wipey fades. On the range I work a lot on shortening my swing and I’ll take videos when I’m hitting it well and it feels short but I’m still getting almost to parallel when I want to be shorter than that for practice purposes
Word on the street she yelled “Gooch” for Taylor Gooch during Max’s backswing. But that is the word on the street from a source I trust.
Other things to note, I met Alex Rodriguez and he was a dick. I met celebrity chef Richard Blais who was super cool.
The culprit. Crowd booed her and Homa’s caddy came back out and was yelling at her and asked for security to kick her out. She did the walk of shame edit add on: my video won’t upload and neither will a screenshot
"Uh, yeah. I mean, I don’t know what he was doing, building sand castles in the sand but you know where your club is. I took three months off and I can promise you I know if I touched sand."
It's like they've had this pod in their back pocket waiting for a travesty of a broadcast like what was put out this week.
I think they mentioned recording with him on a recent recap. Really pumped to get to this one tomorrow
If they can't think for themselves then how could they think all design philosophy and the height of the game ended a hundred years ago?
Based on early reactions, sounds like Kostis came in guns blazing and really let loose. Really excited to get to it later
Listened to it as well. Kind of crazy that CBS doesn’t have enough cameras to cover all of the shots at a tournament as big as Riv. Also found it funny how CBS wanted the broadcast team to be “younger”, yet they hired DL3.
In fairness, DL3 is 20ish years younger and most importantly won't object to referencing FedEx cup points before major qualification when interviewing winners.
If the priority was really to liven up the broadcast you start with Jim Nantz, but we know that will never happen.
Not really a spoiler but in case you haven't heard the Kostis podcast Spoiler: Podcast Kind of a shitty way to end things with Kostis and McCord. "Just wanted to go a different direction." No explanation after combined 65 years of service to CBS. Personally, I don't care about fresh new voices. I like to hear the same analysts/color guys that I've heard for years.
