Yes, and MGM Grand has everything you need. If you haven’t seen KA yet, you should. Additionally Aria, Bellagio, Cosmo and Caesar’s are pretty close-by.
Pretty annoyed with westgate but it’s the nature of the biz unfortunately Last year, reserved tickets to their theater for March madness was $30. This year showed the same. Went to buy yesterday and each ticket now has a $28 service fee. So my tickets doubled from last year Anyone going this year? I’ll be there Thursday. Hopefully wvu plays Friday
You can't go wrong with just about anything in Aria, Cosmo, Bellagio or the other higher end casinos. Just figure out your price point and the genre you want and go from there. Aside from the Buffet, everything in Aria is good (you will find someone here - mostly xec - to vouch for it).
There are better buffets, but Aria did a good job with having large screens set up and a full bar for March Madness. You paid a daily price and stayed all day basically. I’m assuming they still do it, but am not sure. That’s why I always recommend calling around to find out who is planning what.
yep, seen it twice now. never disappoints. easy access too since it is in the caesars courtyard near the strip
Mayfair Supper Club at Bellagio made this listing of 20 of the World’s Best New Restaurants. https://www.cnn.com/travel/article/20-of-the-worlds-best-new-restaurants-for-2020/index.html
Not Vegas but I will be staying at The Hard Rock Hollywood new Guitar tower at the end of April for WPT.
This is the Vegas resort mindset: Director: Oh My Hell. Last year was my department’s most profitable ever. Now the VP is tasking me with increasing it by 15%. How do we do it? Senior Manager: why don’t we just add on some made-up shit for the March Madness package? Director: Brilliant! What do you have in mind? Manager: A service fee for the entry ticket? Director: How much? Manager: Uhhhhh...$28. Director: But the ticket is only $30. Doesn’t that seem high? Manager: So what? It’ll still sell out. People expect Vegas prices to increase. Maybe it’ll keep away some of the poors who don’t bet much anyway. Director: I’m sold. Go work up the numbers. You have a great future in this industry young man!
I thought $30 was underpriced last year for sure but sheesh doubling the price from one year to the next for the exact same product sucks
Did one for a bachelor party back in like 2011, definitely the nicest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in.
The increasing prices + decreasing value, legalized gambling elsewhere. This will be my first time not in Vegas for March Madness in six years. Probably will regret it.
That said, you can purchase an ounce of 80 year old single malt scotch at Aria’s High Limit Lounge for about $5,500.00.
Ok guys, the Resorts World Resort is going to open summer 2021. It will be the most expensive resort ever constructed on the Strip. It’s located just South of Circus Circus and will revitalize that end of the Strip. They have partnered with Hilton for much of the branding. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Resorts_World_Las_Vegas
This might help. Commonwealth is my top choice. Call now to reserve. It’s a Speakeasy style with cool ambiance. Second is Delmonico’s. You can get Pappy there, but it’ll cost you. If you are nearby Aria, Sage has the best cocktail program in that part of the Strip. https://foursquare.com/top-places/las-vegas/best-places-bourbon
I feel like this place has been being constructed since the first time I went to Vegas like 6 years ago and never looks any different
Sitting at the bar at the Wynn now and people here are worried and there’s been a small but noticeable impact already. Whatever. My drinks are coming faster and FSU miraculously covered 1.5 to hit a solid parlay.
The very dry air in Vegas could impact the communicability of the virus. I had planned a trip there in April but postponed it until it all becomes clearer. Vegas had guests from all over the world when coronavirus hit the radar. Factoring in the crowded casino floors, shopping corridors and city sidewalks made me antsy. Of course anyone who is there only a couple of days can enjoy the trip since the illness won’t show symptoms for a while.
Mussels are great if that’s your thing. The best thing I’ve had there was a short rib, but I think it was a special. Whatever you’re getting - and I don’t have any disrecommendations, so if it looks good to you, it probably is - get an order of fries for the table as an app.
