Olivia is pretty loud but food was good and we had a good waiter. It’s 2 miles from my house so will be adding it into the rotation.
Ok, I'll be in Clearwater the 22-26 for spring training Any dinner recs? We're staying right off of US 60, about 10 minutes from the Phillies complex....one day we'll be in Bradenton as well so we'll have a rental car Open to pretty much any type of food, so we're not picky at all
downtown Dunedin and downtown Safety Harbor are both close by to where you're staying and have good options for dinner. Dunedin has a bunch of breweries if you like craft beer. We usually eat at Casa Tina (get the Guacamole salad and Enchiladas en salsa roja) when we go there, but everything there is solid from my experience. In Safety Harbor, I like Southern Fresh, Pizzaria Gregario, and Bar Fly. Gigglewaters is the trendy spot, but we've never eaten there (didn't want to wait). Less bar options than Dunedin if you're looking to wander around, but still a decent time. Not really sure how far you're looking to go for dinner, but both of those areas are a fairly close drive or uber (10-15 min) compared to going all the way to South Tampa or downtown St Pete. But if you want an epic, high end experience, go to Berns and don't skip the dessert room.
In Clearwater: Clearwater Oyster Co., Ocean Hai, Sea Guini Near Clearwater: Salt Rock Grill and Columbia Tampa: Bern's (fancy steak), Armature Works, Sparkman Warf area, Barter House in Ybor St. Pete: Just come walk around downtown (You have 2 areas: Beach Drive and Central Ave). Set GPS to parking garage 117 2nd street north, St. Petersburg, Florida. Many options, I'll mention two: Cassis (beach drive) or The Mill (Central).
Day. Driving down in the AM for the Pirates Spring Training. Games at 1. Figured we'd hang out around the area for a little afterwards
You can park for free all day on 1st Ave west (along river). GPS to 1200 1st Ave W, Bradenton, FL 34205. Then once you park you can try Oak and Stone roof top for a drink or food. You could either walk or uber to LECOM Park Field (1 mile away) at this point. About 2 blocks from the field is Motorworks Brewery, which is decent. After the game, or before, you could also go to Anna Maria Island. Either Beach House Restaurant or Sandbar Restaurant or Ocean Star Anna Maria for sushi. you're not staying in a great area fun wise, so you'll need to move around on this trip imo.
Thanks.... probably won't be out too late since my wife is pregnant. Figured get dinner then a drink or 2 for me then back to the house
Berns is the best restaurant in Tampa but plan on 3 hours if you want desert. Woodys on st Pete beach for peak and eat shrimp on the water.
if she's sober then maybe it won't be a "sit and drink" type of trip and she'll want to be on the move. You can go north to the sponge docks in Tarpon Springs or also drive south to downtown Sarasota and Siesta Beach to explore.
We're gonna wonder around Safety Harbor..not sure where were gonna go though Might hit a few spotsz get a little crazy
Whats up dudes - going to take some time to read this thread. My company just got funded and looking like Tampa is going to be city #2. Going to be spending a lot of time over the next year and possibly moving eventually. Looking forward to learning more about it
