Entire article has me excited. https://www.orlandosentinel.com/spo...0200228-ltjyn23ybzetxnppjdrdjl3thi-story.html “Sophomore slump to me is only realistic if the guy is content. If he’s like, ‘Hey, I’m pretty good, I got this," said Halzle, who observed Dillon last season while serving as a UCF offensive quality control assistant. "Dillon is grinding harder than I’ve ever seen him. We’ve actually had to pull him back and tell him 'Hey, rest is important too. We’re not letting him do everything he wants to do because we need to keep him fresh — that’s how hard he’s grinding. “He wants to be the best in the country. Period. End of discussion. Not from an arrogant standpoint but nobody’s going to outwork me, no one’s going to outproduce me and that’s how he’s working right now.” Navarro kid might be a good one for us in 2023.
Unfortunately I doubt we ever get men's track, due to Title IX if nothing else. I have to imagine they have looked into adding a women's sport of some kind so they could add track but who knows.
Beautiful day at the baseball game. Lost but whatever. Great place to spend a couple hours with kids.
Tough loss in the 1st game but I think CSUN is pretty good. They were 7-0 before last night. UCF won game 2 of the DH 10-5.
They should be a pretty decent team this year. Would be fantastic to take the series 3-1 tomorrow. Hopefully the bats woke the fuck up at the end there and we can score some runs tomorrow.
I was.only half paying attention but that game 1 pitcher was having a day. We only had 1 hit through 6 or 7. Good number of scouts behind home plate with radar guns today.
Article on CBS Sports has Gabe as one of the Winners from his day at the Combine - Gabriel Davis, UCF. Davis quietly had a very strong workout, posting 4.54 in the 40 with a 35-inch vertical, 124-inch broad and a decently fast 7.08 in the three cone. He thrived down the field at UCF and now we know he has early-round athleticism for the receiver position. Also, didn't realize he had signed with RocNation as his agent, not sure of their quality as agents but they put their guys out there for sure.
So I had a dream that I time traveled back to 2017 somehow and was at the USF game at home. I kept talking trash to the visiting team fans telling them I’m positive we’ll be undefeated and beat Auburn in the Peach Bowl. Then I spent the rest of the night trying to find a way to convince KZ not to run the ball in next year’s game at USF. Didn’t work, apparently.
I can’t imagine that they would actually give him snaps in the spring game right? Even if he has a red jersey on, they still wouldn't risk that
No, they won't risk it because he doesn't need the scrimmage and to be honest his knee probably needs those extra 6 months
I could see it if it isn't a "live play". Ala he takes a snap, no one rushes, and he basically does what he did in that video but for a 50 yard touchdown just to give the fans something fun.
None of these sound impressive but guess we'll see. In are: Barbara Boyan, engineering dean at Virginia Commonwealth University; David Brenner, vice chancellor for health sciences at the University of California San Diego; Amr Elnashai, vice president and vice chancellor for research and technology transfer at the University of Houston; Vistasp Karbhari, president of the University of Texas at Arlington; Richard Larson, executive vice chancellor and vice chancellor for research at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center; Cato Laurencin, chief executive officer of the Connecticut Convergence Institute for Translation in Regenerative Engineering at the University of Connecticut; and Javier Reyes, Vice President for StartUp West Virginia, at West Virginia University.
I ran into a contact and asked about KZ throwing. They laughed and basically said, he is working and its great, but those little PR shots are just that. At this point there is not even the thought of KZ running, much less doing live drills. I got the impression that KZ is not even on the radar to play again.
Yea, I see almost no way he actually plays again. Taking a victory formation snap is his best hope right now. The only way I see him playing is if he gets a sixth year and takes this year to continue rehabbing and hope the extra year gets him into playing shape.
That was the first thing I said to my wife when she showed me the video of him throwing. That this was just to drive up attendance at the spring game
So I’m gonna be in Dallas this week and may have Thursday afternoon free. Worth going to watch our disappointing basketball team vs USF?
I’d pay like $15 or so. Not gonna splurge on it. So basically we will see where I’m at and what tickets look like that day.
We're opening a store there and I thought Dallas was awesome. Just sit at Pecan Lodge and eat all the BBQ or check out Salaryman. Really do anything but watch our basketball team.
I don't have one for ME yet although my son is 300 points away from one on the Knight Kids' Club app!
