If it is, may be the last time he ever wrestles. What's the point of waiting 2-4 years to compete in a sport that doesn't have a ton of money to being with.
ASU loses to Lehigh 19-14, all down to Zahid getting suspended. At least Teemer and Norfleet are looking good I guess
Holy shit...Iowa is putting on a clinic against Oklahoma State. 2 falls and 2 majors in the first four matches. Lugo made real quick work of Lewallen.
Amos completed his high school wrestling career at 142-0. Outside of WV being unimpressive at wrestling for a state, I'm excited to see what he can do at Wisconsin.
142-0 in WV--he's obviously a stud but he has lost a handful of matches in national tournaments. Jacob Cardenas at Cadet Team Trials and Peter Christensen at fargo off the top of my head
Not the only one with Big10's on the computer and Arsenal on the TV here I see. Also, it's official, Zahid is done. Greatest in ASU history ends his career on a recreational drug suspension.
lol rocky jordan and abe assad tied 0-0 going into 2nd, rocky almost took him down as 1st round ended. Rocky chooses to go down to start the second. He gives up 4NF, gets a stall called on him, and gets ridden out.
Tomorrow night: -Two different 2-time NCAA champs and one 1-time NCAA champ will be going for their first big ten titles -7/10 of the matches will decide the NCAA 1 seed -6 of those 7 matches should be between the 1 and 2 seeds at NCAAs (assuming parris and gable both win their semis)
Really nice win for Kaleb Romero over Devin Skatzka. Maybe he can avoid Hall/Kemerer in the quarters if he beats Lydy for 3rd.
ohhhhhhh noooooo ridge lovett puts joey silva on his back with 1 second left in the match to win. Silva needed to win to go to NCAAs. Lovett was probably already getting a wildcard regardless of the result.
My predictions. 125- Spencer Lee 133- RBY 141- Pletcher 149- Lugo 157- Ryan Deakin 165- Alex Marinelli 174- Mark Hall 184- Aaron Brooks 197- Kollin Moore HWT- Gable Steveson
I'm a little behind so I haven't seen any results yet. Going with: Spencer Seabass Lee Sasso Deakin Cenzo Hall Brooks Moore Gable
He's my pick, especially now with Daton looking like a major question to mark for trials. It comes down to Gilman, Spencer, Gross, and Suriano. Don't think Colon can hang.
BIG win by Luke Pletcher to grab the Big Ten title and #1 seed at NCAAs. I said all along I thought Pletcher and Lee would go 2-1 against each other
Sasso needs to let it rip a little earlier, damn near cost him in the quarters too. He’s better than Lugo I think, just plays for that tight finish too much
Don't think this is his year, but I feel really good about Sasso moving forward. Still think he's better than Lugo and will take Sasso in that matchup every time.
