That was right after the pick was posted and everyone in the thread was doing a collective wtf Sterling was still having a melty into the next day of the draft calling it a failure, to which almost everyone (myself included) told him that was dumb
I’m not going to sit here and take shit from a guy who just pretended we don’t have a future HOF 1B in the system in Bryce “Drago” Ball
I’ve already warned Lou if I don’t make Top 5 this year I’m burning his house down So you’re on notice Tobias Don’t add me to your list at your peril
That 20 mg doesn’t make since unless he’s doubling hydrocodone 10/325 mg. Oxycodone 20 mg couldn’t have been what he was being given. If so, somebody needs their license revoked. I’m assuming something isn’t accurate in that article tbqh.
Oh it does say “two.” He was more than likely taking hydrocodone 10/325 as a pregame dose. Makes sense to get you through but if he needed two of those it shows how bad that pain was. That was really irresponsible, especially given what we know about the opioid crisis. He should have been shut down.
i will never forgive him for this shit unless he wins world series mvp i hope he takes this threat seriously
Not even just selfish, it’s dangerous. We just saw Tyler Skaggs die getting drugs from a team employee.
the selfish part was him refusing to get surgery and play through it. the moron part covered what you are saying
Man, fuck Snitker. No way he doesn’t know his star player is popping painkillers to play. With the Skaggs death specifically and the opioid crisis in general, he put a players life, not just career, at risk because he is too chicken shit and dumb to force his players to rest. I can’t believe we extended him knowing that.
he’s had this injury for years including the 90 loss seasons. instead of shutting it down early, he powered through like a stubborn jackass and completely botched a series as a result.
I have to think that all of this is coming out today to overshadow yet another shitty performance from Bryse Wilson
glad to see that even tho it’s only february all the whiny pansies in smoltzy are already in midseason form
Players I am watching this Spring: Pache, Waters, Riley, Camargo. 2 innings in the Spring mean anything for some of our more established pitchers like Fried. Last year Snit came out of Spring and started Wright and Wilson in the opening rotation and then gave up on them almost immediately. So I will take any pitching with a grain of salt.
They're doing a lot of tinkering with Bryse. Working that cutter, Paul Byrd had a thing about him throwing a spiked slider now. Just a lot of moving parts, and he needs one of those two offerings to become above average to plus. Can't be a starter with just fastball/changeup at this level.
