To Vince he shouldn’t be over, at least not as a face. He is a big guy with a foreign accent, we should all hate him and it’s his fault we all cheer for him
Taker wants a match and loves AJ, plus it's been said AJ can have a good match with a broom so this will test that.
I mean I’m always excited to hear the gong and see the entrance but I have no desire to actually see Taker wrestle anymore. AJ will make him look way better than what it should be
That card is no longer accurate. The Smackdown side especially. Elias v Cena and Fiend v Reigns is scrapped. I'm expecting Goldberg v Reigns and Cena v The Fiend now, which is infinitely better.
yeah if they're insisting on having a Taker match then you really can't do any better than AJ bumping around him, it's probably the only guy Taker could face that would move the needle for me, I'm down
I'm sure they thought about it and the timing was just never right, but Finn Balor as the Demon vs Undertaker would have been great. ...maybe next year.
Think I'm the only person who finds Balor prancing around with tassels on like some interpretive dancer cheesy, I just can't take his "demon" persona seriously
Taker is still a massive attraction to the general WWE fan. I’m fine with pairing Taker with great workers like this. Going against guys like Goldberg... yikes. With that said I totally get your viewpoint.
This is 100 times better and it makes the most sense. Especially with the Cena promos they have run this weekend and on Monday night. Putting Roman in that spot against Bray again with really set him back after they have done a great job rehabbing him to this point.
I’ve never been a huge Balor fan. His initial run in NXT was ok. And the Demon character played bigger than life and wasn’t horrible in NXT. But on the main roster with a huge ramp to make that walk it looks corny and I agree it felt flat. Balor has been better in his 2nd NXT run but I still hate when he pops his leather jacket.
So I guest hosted this podcast with Jason Agnew yesterday (Brandon from Charleston), and he loved it so much he made it a free show. It’s normally on his Patreon. Enjoy, and feel free to light me up.
Just finished Omega/Pac Great job and great finish. Omega wins but both guys scored a single pitfall. Pac only loses with a DQ early in the match. That's how you use a match like that to protect both
AEW comes hot out of the gate almost every week. It’s wonderful. They basically have their main event first.
its just a matter of time before it comes out that Vince wasn’t happy with NXT losing the ratings war and felt like he needed to step in to right the ship
Really wish Hager wasn't in the Inner Circle. Jeff Cobb is such a better enforcer. It didn't make sense for them to bring in an enforcer when Hager is already supposed to be the muscle of the group.
Do you watch weekly or just caught a hot 15 minutes and dropped this take? I don’t see any connection between NXT and either RAW or Smackdown
I will say, if they play it right, this is a smart way to get shine on Reigns assuming he faces Goldberg at WM. The internet/smarks are likely going to be pissed at Goldberg.
best thing I could say about it is it's a good way to get the title off Wyatt with as little attention as possible since that character should have never had the belt in the first place. to Goldberg though, that's just sad.
Have a feeling they take the belt off of Jericho tomorrow and give it to Mox but not sure thats the right call. Also why are we getting Dark Order vs SoCal, who gives a shit about that match. Would much rather see Private Party, Lucha Bros, or Jurassic Express. Also, the women's title match is just so boring. The one thing AEW hasn't done well is the womens division.
was just a damn suplex I get some perverse joy seeing them go to that well over and over and over again now
I don't know why anyone has the network. The product is garbage and not getting better. Plus there are other options now
Fucking joke and a half. A part timer with two moves beats the hottest thing they’ve had in a while? Classic WWE. I shouldn’t even be surprised anymore
pretty impressive to have the Fiend both win and lose the title on completely anonymous, little-watched online events
