Yeah, that's a wildcard. I still think Sessions would win even with Trump weighing in, but it would make things a lot more interesting. I assumed Trump would stay out of it, because while I think Tubs would beat Doug Jones in a general, he's the only one (viable) that Jones has a chance against. I would have thought GOP would get Trump to stay out of it, but who knows what that idiot will do.

I think Sessions age is something most people aren’t mentioning. Him and Shelby are really the only Senators I can remember (I’m 34). I think people don’t want to elect a 74 yo, who has been around forever. They want new blood.
Not sure if it matters who Byrne endorses but he’s the biggest cuck of them all if he endorses Sessions after giving up his very safe seat in the House because Sessions promised him he wasn’t going to run for Senate.
Byrne and his campaign staff are morons. Bonner's old team and network, who are all still very plugged in, warned them that Sessions was going to jump in the race late for like 3 months. Instead of dropping out and staying in Congress, they put their head in the sand and acted like it was never going to happen and now he's out. Laura Ingraham is going to have a lot of dead air time to fill now

This is why I'm interested in seeing if Sessions is smart enough to shove Tubs' being a complete troll to Bama fans for six years in their faces.
