Aqua man was amazing. I had zero interest in him as a comic book character but that movie made him one of my favorites. He’s the DC Thor.
The directors cut made more sense of the movie. Almost makes me wonder what the Snyder cut of JL looks like, though it's supposed to be amazingly dark.
For the record Aquaman humor is DC low hanging fruit. That being said, Aquaman movie was fucking bonkers, probably a 1/2 hour too long. Regardless it’s a phenomenal watch whilst high and despite the fact Black Manta is corny as fuck, I liked his voice on the OG cartoon. Sober me will probably laugh at this take tomorrow
Lol at the nose comment I think this movie is going to be sneaky good and never get credit because of Nolan
Rumor is this is just a prototype suit he just throws together. Might see a different one. Also this is a stunt double and I’m sure the suit will look better on screen.
hope you are right the biggest thing this reboot needs to figure out is Joker ... he is so iconic and crucial to Batman they have to do it right. Assume we see Joker hints in this movie and him on screen in the second
While I agree I hope we don’t see Joker until maybe a third movie. Use other rogues. Build the world up. Shit have Joker kill Robin in a movie. Red Hood movie.
I'd be fine if they didn't even do Joker. There are plenty of good Batman stories that don't involve Joker.
Yes it is, which is why the suit is a little lacking, especially in the pants. It's not meant to be seen in broad daylight like that.
The buzz for director Matt Reeves’ upcoming The Batman is certain. Several images have already appeared on social media including the new Batsuit, Batcycle, and Batmobile. But an image has now leaked that is allegedly from the movie and shows a victim of one of Batman’s most notorious villains, The Riddler. The image was shared on Reddit and it shows an unknown person’s head wrapped in what looks like either plastic or tape. On the covered face is written a foggy message that reads “No More Lies.” This appears to give the impression that The Riddler will be a very sick and hardcore version of himself. Spoiler
Going to guess there's a Long Halloween style murder mystery happening as the A-plot, with a "Riddler discovers Batman's identity and complicates shit" as the B-plot
LH and year zero/one. He’s only dealt with crime families and penguin before. Now the supervillains start coming out.
