Its been said in here before but if anyone doesn't listen to the New Day pod, you're missing out. I laugh every episode and they do an awesome job of pulling back the curtain of what its like to be a wrestler.
AEW has been better watch the last few weeks. I’m with you I enjoyed NXT more last night. So many stables in AEW. Some eye rolling and others cool but it’s different. I also agree on that Mox promo. Didn’t seem to fit his character.
It’s rare you say a Philly crowd sucks but this one does. That was a good chamber match. that shooting star from the top of the cage. Good lord.
King was one of the only reasons to watch WWF 94-96. He was awesome. His shit with the Harts was incredible. His Memphis stuff from the 70s and 80s is really good too. Just super repetitive at times.
I’ll clarify that i remember him in the attitude era fondly but I didn’t know if that was just me being young and it’s nostalgia or if he was actually good
This is how you book a serious challenger into your biggest show of the year in order to drive its importance. It feels like the Pinnacle of something
Read Edge was on tonight and first RAW on build to mania, decide to turn on RAW for first time in probably over a month....Natalya is first person on my screen....yea that didnt last long
Liv came out right after and saw it was against Asuka and Saine so decided to watch some. Lawler just called Asuka "Aksana".
"RKO on to the chair" Maybe dont use that line when the camera angle you use shows his head get nowhere within 2 feet of the chair
WWE tries to kill anything good. Just can’t get out of their own way. You have an Orton interview in a room with old tables stacked against the wall and a smoke machine going, which is was just awful. Then you have MVP involved for no reason and have Orton looking on while Edge beats MVP with a chair like Orton gives two shits about MVP. Just total overbooking as usual. and that RKO, holy shit at that camera angle. Edges head got closer to the chair than MVP’s did.
I get the reason to have him on when you had Vic and Dio. But this crew doesn’t need King. Hopefully Mania marks the end of his run in the booth. I don’t understand why you couldn’t put Aiden English as the heel in the booth. He’s actually very good at it.
The Orton interview segment was horrible. It really took you out of the ability to suspend disbelief and reminded you it’s all a carney act. MVP had no business in the segment. None of it made any sense. It was forced and overdone.
